THE THIRD TRIAL
[Once the final clues are found, the unsettling chimes sound three times again. However, the Debate Hall doors do not open for the Titled. At least, not for a moment or so.
When they do, though, and the Titled descend the stairs, they will find that the desks have been completely updated, up through the deaths of the previous night. It is...unsettling. Have they truly lost half their numbers in such a short time? But, what can they do about it?
The logs are on the desks, and the Intercessor finishes up the final touches of the evidence they made, placing it on the desks.
There is no chanting on the stage. The dragon, also, seems to be gone, leaving only traces of arms and legs and goo. So, the Intercessor simply goes and sits on the stairs, looking at the remaining survivors. They sound tired as they speak.]
All right. Everyone...do your best. Take your time, and...good luck.
[1/2]
This is not the dragon.

[It was this man's sword who impaled the other holding Killua. He's also...well, wearing this.]
I'm with you, let's just beat the crap out of these guys!
[Who is this guy!?]

Fucking christ, this shit...

Killua looked around until he saw the other man, raising an eyebrow at that outfit before a grin split across his lips. Oh. He was READY to take them down after that absolute insult on his strength. Pulling out both of his sharp daggers, he gripped them tight and regarded his savior. ]
You have my gratitude. It means i'm alive and more numbers on our side to take them down.
[ Then he looks to the one going after to finish off the downed individuals. ]
Leave some for us, would ya?
no subject
Boop!
[Instant collapsing henchman, just add fingerpoke!]
You all right?
no subject
Yeah. I am now.
[ He is SO itching to drive his blades into one of those henchmen about now. But he'll refrain. ]
Good to see you still kicking, Linkara.
no subject
...I'm guessing you're Killua?
no subject
[ He nods easily without a second thought. Betcha the other never suspected that he was actually a kid or anything. Though he does frown afterward and without warning, shoved his one knife out to the side of him and the reason was clear as a henchman falls to the floor with a wound in his torso.
Sure they can take most of his assassin-y skills away but they couldn't remove his impeccable sense of hearing. ]
Nice outfit.

[Ah shoot, how many of these guys were there?]

Hey. I didn't say I wasn't grateful or anything. I kind of owe my life to you for stepping in like that.
[ It feels weird to owe someone for something like that. ]

They could remove a lot but his hearing and other sharp senses remained just as good. ]
So. What's your title anyway?
[ Lookin' at you there, Aoi. ]
no subject
[ oh, he knows already, but he likes hearing these things from other peoples' mouths. ]

[Don't mind her, she kind of just smacked an invisible cronie with the smooth part of her axe.]
no subject
[ That kind of action just has him curious for one sole reason. ]
How is it you can see where they are but we can't...?
no subject
[She points down near her feet and reveals a decent sized blood splatter.]
Seems like blood is still visible to us.
no subject
[ Killua grinned at this, straightening up and lashing out toward his right side sharply, causing one of the henchmen to fall with a cut on his leg. Nothing fatal but... it does the job. ]

He's almost daring them to try, and yet being alert because he doesn't want the other to die because he's trying to protect him. ]
