FINAL WEEK

[Soon after, many of the figures lay dead. They bodies are splayed all over the stage. The female, however, seems to be gone.

Where did she go? What is she planning? It's unknown. But, soon after the Titled leave the Debate Hall, they are struck with a vivid vision. It is quick, but strong. Another dream, and this time, it is a waking dream.

Another memory. The Depths haven't been cleaned, either. The halls are silent, and no new doors seem to have opened. Yet deep down, you know. The end is near.

Its time to get ready. So, get ready, Titled.

Maglor bats the other bottles out of reach, and settles his weight more firmly on Junior ]

[ The wolf growls at him warningly - not agression, but the message is clear.

[ A low whine but Maglor noses against him gently and licks him.

Sleep, silly ]

Yeah yeah...good an' stuck. If I had my real body, this'd be nothing. I'd get you offa me easy.

[bythewaves]

[ A soft, understanding whuff, Maglor continuing to snuggle ]

My little brother's almost 's big as Alexis, y'know. I'm s'pposed to be that size, too. Then almost nobody'd be taller than me. 'Cept you.

[bythewaves]

[ An inquiring chuff, Maglor listening quietly and patiently ]

It's 'cause this damn body of mine won't change. Not since Miltia...I'm gonna be stuck like this 'til something kills me, 'cause I can't age.

[bythewaves]

[ The wolf whines sadly, nosing gently against him ]

[carries_war]

[He lifts a hand to ruffle Maglor's fur.]

I bet it was different for you. You're s'pposed to live as long as nothing kills you. Your mind and body probably always matched up, huh?

[ He leans into the ruffle and huffs softly with a nod ]

Me, I'm an adult, 'cept my body's still like a kid's. I don't think like a kid, but even people on the Foundation keep forgetting how old I am 'cause I look like this.

D'you have any idea how frush...how bad it is having to pretend t'be your little brother's adopted son?

[ A low, understanding whine, Maglor nosing close ]

But I gotta. It's the only way they'll believe I'm human, if they think I'm a kid. If the Federation knew what I am, how I was involved on Miltia...
