FINAL TRIAL
[The doors at the other end of the city do not open for the Titled. However, whatever is going on in there still brings forth bright lights from within, and ultimately, it is to the steps of the entrance that everyone is drawn to. It's not the most formal setting for figuring out the truth of the matter before them.
Eric's brought the snacks, at least.
The Dragonborn sits at the top of the stairs, looking down as everyone congregates.]
...Having this key...I am certain I can open the door with little difficulty. But before I do we must make certain we know and understand exactly what we will be facing. What we are facing. These people...they are doing something and we must ensure we can somehow stop it.
Who is the Mastermind? What is going on in this world? And...of course...why did the Mastermind want to kill 15 strangers?
Good luck, Titled.]

Half of you are already dead. This Tower is compromised by your very presence and we have uncovered the truth about Walk-Brass. Even if I die, the rest of my people would not hesitate to hunt you down.

Oh really?
[ His tone is absolutely flat, angry and not happy by any means. ]
I'm not afraid of you or your damn people. [ Killua then looked over toward where Junior was. ] OI!! Junior!! If you're going to do something, do it now!!

Nnngh! D-Damn you--!
[ The hell?! He knows he's a lot more resilient to lightning than this but somehow it actually kind of hurt. ]

[Well, you get lightning now.]
You should fulfill the purpose you were brought here for!

[ He dodges the second shot by tossing a knife to intercept the lighting bolt.
His voice is almost gentle. Pitying. ]
If you had wanted me to die, you could have just asked. But you gave me purpose, you see. These young ones needed me - the Feanorionnath do not abandon their own. That purpose far superceeds any you wish to impose.
Do you know how my cousin Finrod killed the werewolf?
[ He presses forward - stalks, almost, graceful and deadly, and his voice never leaves the light, conversational lilt, even though his eyes are burning silver ]
With his teeth locked around its windpipe even as it tore out his organs. It was Arafinwean skill that broke his enchanted chains, but that trick is my brother's. I'm not the Hunter, you know - that was always Celegorm. Celegorm the Cruel, Celegorm the Fey. But before he was Celegorm, he was Tyelkormo, and he was one of Orome's Hunters. I'm not the Hunter - but you gave me the wolf, and I remember my brother's song.
[ It takes but a moment's breath and the elf is gone, and the grey wolf bounds forwards. If it can get it's jaws on her, not even death will part them ]

If your people keep coming after us, we'll just kill them too. Now, we can do this one of two ways: you tell us how to stop what's going on, save the other three Titled from Camilla's group, and get our memories and powers back, and I'll make it quick. Or, you could refuse to cooperate, and I'll cut your goddamn stomach open.
And you're lucky I'm giving you the option of a quick death, after everything you've done.

[She re-summons her atronach to go after Jr.]
You won't stop this. I will not let you ruin all the Thalmor has accomplished. We will erase this mistake!
no subject
Fine, I gave you your chance.
[He takes a swipe at Elenwen's gut before dashing away. His free hand reaches into his pocket for an invisibility potion and he drinks it on the run, disappearing from view.]

[She casts another spell - this time, it seems to emit a wave of some kind, though Jr can feel it even if he can't see it.
It's a detect life spell, and soon enough Thalmor are swarming on Jr.]
I practiced with the most powerful magicians in Tamriel. The Thalmor are unmatched in all things, including magic! You have no chance!

[Oh well. In that case, he might as well turn visible again...just as he's lashing out with a horizontal slash from his hunting knife at the nearest Thalmor.]
Blazing Capriccio!
[He lets the momentum carry him into a spin, bringing the knife down in a diagonal slash as he turns to face his enemy again. Then he draws one of his smaller knives and lunges forward for a stab. If that hits, he'll give the Thalmor a heavy kick off his knife.]
