WAKE UP TIME

[The first thing you feel when you wake up is...nothing.

You don't feel much different at all when you wake up, no doubt from a very pleasant sleep, even if you may not remember what you dreamed of. If anything, you would have thought it was another normal day.

That thought would have vanished the moment you took in your surroundings. This is not your bed, this is definitely not your bedroom, and well, this is definitely not your home. In fact, this place isn't anywhere you've been before.

Before you can question anything much further, your cell phone starts beeping, flashing a message on the screen for a good several minutes, before flashing your profile, also for a few minutes. Yes, now you have a Title, and a power, even if you've never had one before. And yes, you have a cell phone. Even if you didn't have one, and don't know what the hell a cell phone is. You get the feeling you'll need to keep it on you.

The profile fades back to the home page of your phone - don't worry, you can still access your profile, and everyone else's, on that little lime icon if you really want - even though you have so many questions now. (The help button may... attempt to be helpful in that case.) Where the hell are you? Why do you have a Title? And can you get out?

[So to Loewe a place like this was a complete and utter culture shock and not just the normal shock of this definitely isn't his bedroom. It looked far more like how he'd imagine a noble's bedroom would look. Which is exactly the sort of place he doesn't want to be in.

It took him some time to figure out how to even get out of the room, but once he did he decided to look around and try to figure out where here is. Once he had that, figuring out how to get home could come next.

First he checks out Yotsukoshi, of special interest is the electronics and appliances because he's never seen stuff like this before. If he spots another character he may stop them to ask if they know what a particular item is.

Eventually he'll check out everything else, but the clothing isn't of much interest. However when he finds the cat cafe that's of some interest because he actually does like cats.]

[ So apparently this is what they're talking about. Because this is what Ana's wife gave her when asked about a random thing in those sections. ]

Hm? Oh, that's a speaker companion. You can plug it into a music player and it'll dance and play the music.

[And apologies to having to deal with how not advanced his time is, but wow, most of that just flew over his head.]

But how would it do that? [Loewe is carefully looking at the device and there doesn't seem to be any instruments that he's familiar with on it.] I know I haven't seen a musical instrument like that.

It plays a recording of music. So, like, a compact disc, or maybe just an MP3. It's entirely digital. So you could listen to an entire orchestrated concert with this little guy.

Wait, so you can record music rather than having to ask someone to play for you all the time? [He speaks like this is exactly what he has to do.]

Mhm. It's really amazing what technology can do.
