WAKE UP TIME

[The first thing you feel when you wake up is...nothing.

You don't feel much different at all when you wake up, no doubt from a very pleasant sleep, even if you may not remember what you dreamed of. If anything, you would have thought it was another normal day.

That thought would have vanished the moment you took in your surroundings. This is not your bed, this is definitely not your bedroom, and well, this is definitely not your home. In fact, this place isn't anywhere you've been before.

Before you can question anything much further, your cell phone starts beeping, flashing a message on the screen for a good several minutes, before flashing your profile, also for a few minutes. Yes, now you have a Title, and a power, even if you've never had one before. And yes, you have a cell phone. Even if you didn't have one, and don't know what the hell a cell phone is. You get the feeling you'll need to keep it on you.

The profile fades back to the home page of your phone - don't worry, you can still access your profile, and everyone else's, on that little lime icon if you really want - even though you have so many questions now. (The help button may... attempt to be helpful in that case.) Where the hell are you? Why do you have a Title? And can you get out?

Perhaps, if you're strong enough. But, in any case.

What is the purpose of trapping us here on the condition of murder?

Isn't this, like, the same question Needed asked? I get that it's super important to you guys, but...

[LC points a finger directly at him, in a burst of enthusiasm.]

Lemme ask you something, Coffee! If I answer that, would it actually, like, make you wanna murder someone more? Cause I think everyone here will have their own reasons...

Not in particular, no. However, the answer will determine just how harshly I view you and everyone else involved in arranging for this.

So you like, need to know for the purpose of your own judgment... that's an interesting answer!

[LC puts a hand on her hip, and gestures freely with the other.]

Well, judging you guys is a factor in their decision too. But I'm not, like, involved in that myself. It's just my job to support everyone!

Judging...do you mean in terms of character, or in terms of ability to get away with murder?

[LC smiles a little.]

Judging can be, like, either a good or a bad thing, right? The ones who get away with murder totally don't get judged, they just, like, get what they're after.

Wouldn't that be because they've escaped judgment by concealing their crime?

[lifecoach]

Well, once they like, get their incentive and go, their role here is totally done.... judgment isn't the same thing as execution. Execution is just, like, a means of judgment.
