I'd have to be a lot luckier than I actually am for there to be a co-op mode, but I'm sure you'd do fine! I just think more people should dance.

... Well, as luck would have it, these machines generally have at least a two-player setup or a challenge mode. I don't use technology often, but when I was younger, I was very fond of things like this. It kept me in shape.

[Come to think of it, she's a professor, but Joey saw her listed age in the profile and didn't think she could be any older than that based on appearance, even if the picture didn't really match. Maybe she's a genius. Or an adjunct professor.]

[ ... Oh gosh. Well. All right then. And the truth is, Joey, she got that job for Reasons. She had someone covering for her, and everyone thinks she's much older than she is. She's very qualified for the position, though. ]

I suppose it can't hurt... though I'm not sure this is the right outfit for this kind of thing, so I might do a bit more poorly than I usually would.

[She's not going to lie and say she's not going to enjoy winning, but she's not going to say the truth out loud, either.]

O-of course...

[ It's Joey, but at the same time, she can't let Joey know just how freaking in-shape she actually is. People would start asking questions. So she decides she'll put on a "moderately okay" display when she does finally decide to step up to the machine. Not great, but not terrible, either. ]

[Joey's focused on her own performance, so Ursula's struggles to control herself precisely get at best a peripheral glance. Her secret's safe for now...but Joey will be enjoying the winning score on their first dance together, because she always gives it her all.]

Whew, that's a workout. See, though? You didn't do bad at all!

It would seem you definitely bested me, Joey.

[ She smiles brightly. She let Joey win on purpose, but she's not going to tell her that. That, and she really doesn't feel like doing the harder songs in a dress, it would be quite difficult without the magic needed to turn this into the usual form-fitting catsuit she tends to wear. ]

Still, it was fun!

[ ... She is, however, noticeably holding her left arm a bit. The song she picked required SOME use of her hands, and, well... ]

[Fortunately, Joey always dresses for dancing. That's what knee-length skirts are for, right?]

It was very fun...hey, did you hurt your arm?

[She's not going to forget that weird handshake so quickly, even if she's also not going to ask for an explanation directly.]

Well, you should be careful with it! Sorry for pushing you around, I hadn't realized you actually had an injury there.

That's very sweet of you, but don't worry. I'll be fine. It only hurts from time to time.

[ She smiles. This is a lie--her arm has caused her more problems than she'd like to admit, but she isn't ready to tell Joey... why she's injured. ]
