[He stops walking as soon as he sees Akira move. Akira, this is probably the most genuine you've ever seen his smile.]

It would seem so. I've even already prepared my donation.

[With that, he reaches into his pocket and holds out a piece of a napkin stained dark red with some sort of dried liquid.]

[ He gives a small chuckle, until he's blinking at that napkin.

Welp. This sure is a thing, though he's going to be pulling out a needle that he wrapped in a small stack of napkins.

He hasn't taken the time just yet to do something along the lines of what the good detective has done. So pardon him while he makes use of that needle to prick his finger.

Enjoy your piece of blood-covered napkin. ]

Guess I should follow your lead and prepare some in one fell swoop...

[Not what Mysterious Voice-chan usually means when she tells you you've turned a vow into a blood oath, huh Akira? Here, have a cup of healing coffee in return for the blood sample.]

It would save you some discomfort. And taking care of it now means you can use my power to heal the prick.

[ This is certainly a more Summer Camp version of turning things into a blood oath. ]

Hey, I'm totally manly and tough. I've got this. [ akira plz ] ... Though, I'll take magical coffee from you any day.

[ A smile before he readies the napkins, and then pricks his finger a little deeper this time, earning a small flinch. He might have gone a little too deep... but he doesn't want to have to continue pricking it?? Crazy, he knows, but it isn't the most pleasant feeling -- he gets enough of this kind of thing from Dr. Takemi. ]

All right... [ Once the last napkin is finished. ] Done and done.

[He frowns slightly at that flinch, knowing full well how unpleasant it is to be stuck with a needle. He gets enough of that at real blood drives. But at least the needle can go away once the blood is flowing. With the last napkin done, he's more than happy to hand over the coffee.]

I almost feel like I should be offering you a lollipop, too.

Wow, no lollipop?

[ A totally serious face of disappointment. ]

[The corner of his lips twitches upward in a hint of a mischievous smirk, and the way his face tints red should give a pretty good idea of where his mind went with that.]

Sadly, my power can only create drinks. If you really want one, though, we might be able to find some in the grocery section. We're not exactly short on funds anymore.

[ Goodness, detective...

That offer has him actually laughing softly. ]

I think I'll manage to survive...

[ THOUGHTFUL LOOK....... ]

[He entirely blames you for where his mind went.]

[ The ever-impressive stoic expression cracks, a small grin appearing. ]

And it's all your fault.

[ There's a playful glint in his eyes. ]

I'm not sure how I'd manage if you put your foot down after all this time...

[ A falsely super serious expression. ]

I must warn you, I can be pretty persistent when I'm determined to get my way.

Ah, but I can be quite stubborn as well. Are you sure you want a battle of attrition with me, Akira-kun?

[ One corner of his lips is lifting a little more with the next words. ]

I do enjoy a good challenge.

[ And now there's a bit of a grin as that glint becomes more prominent. ]

Especially when I'm up against you.

[...All this flirting was a mistake. He really wants to kiss Akira right now, but this is way too public.]

Such confidence, Akira-kun. Well, if you enjoy challenging me that much, why don't we add a friendly wager to this hunt?

[ The mention of a wager brightens his expression a little with something akin to... excitement. He tilts his head to the side. The grin remains perfectly intact. ]

A wager, huh?

[ His gaze lowers in thought for a moment, a mischievous air surrounding him. He makes a point of letting his gaze slide up up the opposite form before he finally speaks again. ]

All right...

[ A grin much more akin to the one he wears in the Metaverse surfaces. ]

The winner gets to ask for any favor of their choice.

Any favor, hmm?

[He turns faintly pink at the way Akira looks him over, though the way his eyes briefly flicker down suggests they're probably thinking the same thing.]

I believe I can accept those terms.

[beguiledcard]

[ A soft chuckle escapes as he casually shifts his stance, a perfectly... innocent smile surfacing before he speaks. ]

Game on, detective.

I hope you won't be too upset when you lose. Finding things is one of my most important skills.

Well, you should know the risk only ups the excitement. [ STILL TOTALLY INNOCENT FACE ] Victory tastes sweeter when it's against a worthy opponent.

[ Even if this challenge isn't remotely about winning, more than it is the fun of going against his favorite rival... ]

Well... how about we seal the deal then?

[ Annnd that's a not-especially-discreet glance over at the nearest clothing store. ]

[He follows Akira's glance and...oh. That would work, wouldn't it?]

It wouldn't do to leave it open, would it?

[ And it's those words that are all the confirmation that he needs. There's a slight glint in his eyes as he lets them linger on the other young man's face. There's a small grin on his lips as he starts that way, steps casual.

He's letting his fingers idly brush against the clothes on the way to one of the dressing rooms. And once he's inside? He's casually leaning against the mirror, hands in pockets. ]

[Well, if Akira isn't going to move for it first. Once the door is solidly closed behind them, he steps forward to rest his palm against Akira's cheek. Then he lets his hand drop to his boyfriend's shoulder as he steps forward and presses their lips firmly together.]

[ Just as planned. There's a very telling grin as Goro moves in, and he doesn't hesitate to slide a hand around to press it against his boyfriend's back.

His other hand moves up to tangle in Goro's hair as he smiles into the kiss. ]
