Is this symbol familiar to anyone? I got a robe out of that odd vending machine which seems to have some of our belongings in it. I wouldn't want to keep it if it belongs to someone here.

[He is going to try it on, though. It isn't really his usual style but he does need more clothes. If nobody claims it, he's curious if it fits well enough to use.

Later in the day, Kurama is back in the cat cafe, looking at what seems to be a photograph with a faintly pensive expression. The cat in his lap looks like it might be a comfort cat more than anything.]

No, this is the way it looks on the robe. I've never seen anything quite like it before.

No, nothing. Perhaps it's just a random item that doesn't belong to anyone in particular. The color scheme makes it a bit ominous looking.

I don't know how much I would trust that in this place.

But no, I'm speaking in terms of fashion.

One doesn't generally wear a black robe with red trim and a mysterious symbol in order to look friendly and approachable.

well it probably wasn't mysterious to whoever made it
maybe it was just a cold place full of people who needed warm fabric coverage

I would assume not but there are plenty of cults with symbols that are mysterious to others and not to them.

I'll grant that's technically possible.
But they'd have no reason not to claim it if it's for something as innocuous as a stage production.

Why Sanzashi-san? I don't actually think it would fit him, physically, but I'm curious.

it doesn't look like anything, so it looks like the first thing to pop into your head.
