Considering the Life Coach spoke as if it's only possible for one of us to escape in such a manner, I expect so. Otherwise, it could become a cycle of repeated escapes and punishments for the innocent survivors.

I agree. Under the circumstances, it would be highly difficult to successfully evade detection. The limited suspect pool means that it would be possible to compare evidence against each individual who lacked an alibi. One would have to commit the murder in such a way that left nothing linking them to the scene of the crime.

If anyone has an alibi, I'll be shocked. If someone takes the bait, it will happen at nighttime when most of us are sleeping.

There are possibilities...

[Such as the fact that they apparently have at least one couple here, but he's not going there. Out loud.]

Two people having difficulty sleeping might be in contact with one another in a way that would be impossible to manage in the midst of a murder, for example.

Which could then cause additional victims if a murderer feels a need to eliminate witnesses. I know they said only two can be killed, but how are they going to prevent it?

Assuming they're observing us, the Life Coach may intervene in such a case. Otherwise...I suspect anyone who did attempt to simply eliminate anyone who might cause them to fail would be penalized.

I'm assuming they are, but that doesn't meant they'd be able to react quickly enough to prevent a third murder from happening.

That's why I expect some form of penalty. The most lenient I've considered is that their attempt to invoke rule 7 would be considered void...
