WEEK 3
[Once everyone has gotten out of the elevator, those who go to look for Akira and Kurama will find that they have been put into one of their rooms, together, safely tucked into bed with a glass of milk for each of them. And - aside from the bruises of being suctioned into a death cylinder and tranquilized with some very strong drugs - they are alive and unharmed.
Naturally, this means that Akira and Kurama are the first to experience the dreams, but everyone will experience them, once they finally fall asleep, for good and ill.
Despite everything, too, the survivors will find many other new things facing them as they wake up. A new evolution for their powers, a new wing...and a new rule, updated after the execution. The profiles have also been updated, to reflect the Titled's ever-dwindling numbers.
This is going to be a long week, that's for sure.
There are ten strangers left in this place.
((OOC: Don't forget to do Activity Check along with memory regains, everyone!))

For one? He knows Kurama's mother is incredibly important to him. He knows his friends are. He knows, and that terrifies him right now. So, instead of saying anything for now, he's just going to move over, pause for just a moment...
Then wrap his arms around him from the side, forehead against the redhead's shoulder. ]
...
[ Quietly, in an effort to offer something that might be remotely reassuring: ]
You wouldn't put your faith in just anyone's abilities. Hey... once you're out of here, you can thank him for keeping her safe.
no subject
No... I wouldn't. Surely Hiei or Kuwabara will notice, their awareness is extraordinary. They'll realize...
[He needs to believe in those words. His friends have pulled through worse. ]
no subject
All he wants to be right now is a source of strength for the ones he has left...
What else... can he do from here, aside from say carefully-pieced-together words and offers hugs? ]
They're desperate at this point...
[ One hand begins combing through Kurama's hair, his expression almost matching the momentary hum inside. ]
It's their way of playing on how much we're willing to do to protect the people we love. [ his tone shifts ] We'll give them hell for it.
[ The brief anger fades back into white noise. ]

He would never try to tear Akira's masks away in public.
Kurama shudders a little, bandaged hands curling into Akira's shirt. But his voice when he speaks is steady, and burns like dry ice.]
They want us to suffer. They'll know the true meaning of the word when we're finished with them.
no subject
His brow tenses as one hand lowers to rest against Kurama's shoulder. ]
They picked the wrong group.
[ It's just above a whisper. ]
The next time we use that power, we'll take advantage of it. We know what to do now, right? We'll find a way to awaken it again.
[ He almost can't believe he's internally struggling to not outright beg Kurama to stay strong and to believe they'll find a way through this. It's probably the second most irrational series of thoughts to ever go through his damn head.
Please let his words and his comfort be enough, this time...
... Please... let him save someone this time...
Heh... When the hell did he take up begging, anyway? He doesn't need to beg, damn it. He'll find a way through this. He will. He has to. ]

[Kurama takes a deep breath and moves to rest his head against Akira's. He really just kind of needs this right now. His team isn't really that big on hugs, but Akira is warm and reassuring and cares about him.
He has his goal, and that's really all he's ever needed in the past, but this... It's nice to have this, too. Even if it's just Akira's kindness.]
no subject
Then, while letting his head rest against the opposite, he closes his eyes. For a moment, he simply remains quiet. ]
Let's ask the Life Coach.
[ She has to know something. They'll just have to ask her about it, and then go from there. They'll find a way to make use of that power, and then use that power to break free.
There was a way to bring them all there, so there's a way to get them all out. It's just a matter of finding that way before it's too late. ]

[Kurama's jaw is tight, his body coiled with tension, but the way he holds Akira is careful. It's tight but not painful.
He almost holds Akira like something precious.]
no subject
As his fingers thread through Kurama's hair, he finally opens his eyes. ]
Right.
[ His gaze is firm as he speaks. In spite of the obvious signs of wear, the rebel fire hasn't been extinguished. His voice is quiet, but the words still hold volume. ]
Even if she can't talk, she isn't our only option. We'll tear this mall apart, if that's what it takes to find our answers.
