WEEK 3
[Once everyone has gotten out of the elevator, those who go to look for Akira and Kurama will find that they have been put into one of their rooms, together, safely tucked into bed with a glass of milk for each of them. And - aside from the bruises of being suctioned into a death cylinder and tranquilized with some very strong drugs - they are alive and unharmed.
Naturally, this means that Akira and Kurama are the first to experience the dreams, but everyone will experience them, once they finally fall asleep, for good and ill.
Despite everything, too, the survivors will find many other new things facing them as they wake up. A new evolution for their powers, a new wing...and a new rule, updated after the execution. The profiles have also been updated, to reflect the Titled's ever-dwindling numbers.
This is going to be a long week, that's for sure.
There are ten strangers left in this place.
((OOC: Don't forget to do Activity Check along with memory regains, everyone!))

[ His gaze is resting on the board. With his jawline tensing, he turns his head away. ]

[But he can imagine it for himself. Of course. The logic being that Goro loves Akira whereas Kurama was just a friend. ...as well as his conviction that if he'd been thinking clearly that night, he would have known the full effect his words could have.]
Goro, should Akira be making himself guilty and miserable over what happened?

Don't--... ...
[ But it's out. He doesn't even look -- he can hear the coin's movement, namely noting the lack thereof... His eyes close for a moment, a slow breath escaping as he turns towards the board. ]
...
[ Sliding that hand back into his pocket, he lets his expression dim. ]
I know you told me you didn't want me to remain chained to my past, Goro, and I know we agreed on what would happen if one of us--
[ His voice cracks briefly, and he completely stops talking for a full two seconds. Lifting his eyes, he looks off to the side, staring at the wall. ]
... But, you'll never be just some part of my past.
[ Yep, keeping face turned away... even if it might be clear by his voice he's tearing up a little. It's fine, though? ]

Even as he speaks to Akira, his left hand is reaching out thoughtfully to touch the coin. Judging angles and movement patterns against memories of height and body shape.]
Akira... How could you think that I, of all people, would ever ask something like that of you? Do you believe I would forget him? Let go of him? Even a kitsune's heart is not that fickle.
Goro is dead but far from gone and certainly not past.
[In fact, if Goro can influence the coin and be trapped in the mall, there's some interaction. Plus sight and sound... Hmm.]
Goro, please look at me for a moment.
[Kurama gives a second for him to comply if he's going to, and then moves quickly. If his calculations are right? The kiss should land right on Goro's mouth even if Kurama can't feel it. If they're wrong, it's still fairly obvious what he was trying for.]

[ He's frowning. ]
Kurama, I never said that I thought you would want that...
[ ... ]
...
[ Ah. ]
...
[ Congratulations, you just managed to earn a quiet laugh??? Some of his fingers press against his mouth. ]
Leave it to you to pull something like that...

[...It's not why he did it, but making Akira laugh is a nice bonus. Kurama neatly moves the coin off the board and steps away, his hair flicking almost like a tail as he turns.]
Well, of course. I didn't want Goro to have any misunderstandings about the situation. I'll be back for my last four questions later.
gdi kurama
Hope you don't mind this guy reaching out and just grabbing your arm, then? Not roughly -- kind of a gentle, but persistent hold.
His eyes narrow a little. ]
Well, since we're in the process of clearing up misunderstandings...
[ He takes a deep breath. ]
For the record, I've never doubted Goro's intelligence, but he's a sensitive guy who only just started trusting people. Before me, it was Sae-san.
[ Great. He's close to tearing up over this whole thing, again. ]
So, yes... I was worried.
[ Letting that arm go. He scrubs the more recently injured hand through his hair. ]
... Just like I was worried at that time you would have thought I was using you.
he has moments okay
He honestly isn't sure whether it's more reassuring or painful to know that Goro is nearby but their only true contact is a board and seven questions.
He listens until Akira is done, though, quiet and attentive, eyes considering.]
...I do realize that. But if he knows what happened that night, I think he also knows why.
[Kurama reaches out to touch Akira's cheek, brief but gentle.] Akira, you're really too kind for your own health. I never once thought that.
no subject
... I know.
[ A small smile is managed, though it's a tad bit straight around the edges. ]
You're right. I haven't been thinking clearly since... [ Does he need to say?? ] But... thank you.
[ He releases a quiet, albeit heavy exhale. ]
Well... let's... get to it, then.
[ Glancing in the direction of the board for a moment. His voice is quiet as he makes an attempt at combating all the sadness floating around everyone, namely the ones inside this very room. ]
I wouldn't be surprised if he's still blushing...
