... It's a bit stilted but the point comes across. "We're not here to hurt you. Where's Ren?" Or at least, that is what she is TRYING to say. She's pretty knowledgeable about bird languages and most of them are similar... this can't be too different, right? It's like talking to Alcor, her crow. ]

Well, speaking cat IS incredibly advanced-level stuff. Although speaking bird requires a lot more understanding of inflection, speaking cat requires advanced body-language study... cats only meow for humans, after all, so if you're speaking fluent cat, you're making their real language.
