THE THIRD TRIAL

[It happens again, like clockwork. Once the final clues have happened, the elevator in the food court opens with a DING. It doesn't leave until everyone has gotten on, and the thought occurs to everyone that they shouldn't waste time.

An innocent man was ruthlessly murdered, after all. After everything that's happened.

Just as before, everyone who is still alive will find their favorite food and drink at their platform. And just as before, Akechi, Helena and Ren's platforms have now been lowered and covered with a white cloth, joining the increasing number of dead spaces in the trial area. Helena's platform, however, has an addition not present on any other deceased's platform: a single white lily, placed almost reverently on top.

Well. Whatever reason that lily is there, it shouldn't detract from the fact that there is a trial to be had here, once more. Its time to look at the evidence at hand, and to hopefully find whoever did this heinous crime.

So, it's time, Titled.

The trial for the murder of Ren Sanzashi, The Doorframe, has begun.]

All right. Let's figure out how we're gonna stop this.

[ Turning to Ursula. ]

I found who we're gonna do everything in our power to save. No more death.

[ So while they plan, Croix is going to look trough her phone for anything that might be useful to stop this. They made he fabricator, maybe she can make them regret giving her that power. ]

[There is nothing on her phone to indicate the Fabricator can actually stop what is happening.]

[ Dammit. Nothing at all that could be of any help in this whatsoever, huh? Not even with trying to buy time? Damn. She Tried. ]

[ She looks determined. ]

You said when you two agreed to be partners, you felt power, right? There's an even amount of us, if we take Coco out of the equation. If all of us partner up somehow... would we be able to do something? With our powers?

We could.

[ He directs a pointed glance at Kurama, eyes narrowed as he releases slow exhale. ]

If we all pair up, I think there's a chance we can put a stop to this. We just have to plan carefully. We just have to put our all into it.

I don't have any combat powers. I'm not sure how useful I'd be.

[ I mean unless she is secretly a Reaper lol. ]

[ WHERE THERE'S A WILL THERE'S A WAY, RIGHT............ ]

I'm thinking this kind of thing will take more than combat...

[Loewe is going to write something down and toss it over towards Akira. He actually has a possible idea, but it can't be heard and seen as potentially interfering.]

How about he stands at the podium of someone else? If he walks over, that person wouldn't be interfering. But they may have a means to deal with such a simple tactic.

Yeah, that's a good thought...
Unless someone is watching and would simply send him down from whatever platform he happens to be standing at...

[Note passing time! Because of course he'll respond back and so not using those phones.]

Yeah, we don't know if they'd have a way to just send him and not the other person. But it's not technically a rules violation.

[ Yep! It's like being in class, only one of their classmates or the principal might kill them. ]

Right. So far, they've proven they'll follow the written rules, so I'm feeling more confident that we just have to find a way to work around them.

[ ... He changes his mind in passing it, so he can add: ]

Or even just bend the ones they have in place.

[All Joey has to do is hear the words and she's quietly texting Coco so as not to speak over anyone else.]
