FINAL WEEK

[This round really has been different.

The beginning of the week brings memories once more, as everyone finally falls asleep, and soon enough it will become apparent that a new wing has opened up, laying bare the entire mall for the survivors. Still, it is no small comfort. Not when the residents have also been updated, bringing home the very sobering fact that over half of those who arrived here are dead.

There are so few left. The Fabricator has been exposed, and somehow that is hardly a victory. It's clear that whoever is running this intends to hold whatever cards they can until the bitter end. Theirs isn't the first time this Game has been played, after all. They can easily outlast their charges on their home turf.

Yet, there is a strange hope. Maybe there is a way out. The question now is finding it and going on the offensive, before those in charge make their next move. Because they will eventually. There is no doubt. Time is not a luxury the remaining Titled can waste anymore and everyone knows it.

So don't waste it - because the clock is ticking. Prepare yourselves.

You can definitely sleep with us. I mean, is there really anything stopping us from just taking our matresses and making one giant sleepover area for the girls? Probably not. I'd feel better if we could keep an eye on Coco, too...

Speaking of Coco, is she around?

O-oh... are you safe? Can Miss Nyaf protect you...? Or would you be safer if you spent your time with one of us?

Hehe, that's totes sweet of you to ask. I can actually protect myself from, like, most threats, but Nyaf-ya and Kana-chan would totally have my back too.

Though I mean. I won't say no if you guys, like, wanna hang out anyway!

We're straight up going to fight your boss soon. I know what you think about our chances, but are we going to have to fight you, Nyaf-ya, and Kana once we push it that far?

Me and Nyaf-ya should be good to sit it out! I'm not totally sure about Kana-chan though....

I'm glad for that at least. The last thing I want to do here is fight you two.

Is there a way for us to talk to Kana? Or do we need to count on the people on the other side...?

Hmm. I haven't seen Kana-chan out in the mall today so she might be, like, tied up...

[She blinks at that, though. Checks her own phone, too.]

Uhhh? I totally have no idea. Maybe it's, like, gonna be part of a motive or something? The Boss doesn't think you can get to her, soooo those are probably gonna keep on happenin'.

Maybe she'll send another letter...

We know the ghosts are still around right now, but she might try to cut off communication and treat them like hostages, or something. I don't know, Jude does the strategy back home and I'm kind of counting on Akira and Croix for it here...

I don't suppose you can tell us anything about the boss we don't already know? She's a woman who likes being cruel to people and is generally a complete jerk, is all I've got.

Letter? [Coco blinks, apparently not really hearing of this particular evidence before.]

Well, if she tries to treat them as hostages, that's like, totally fake. If we wanted them erased then everything here would be, like, way different. I'm serious~

And umm.... what specifically do you want to know? I don't talk a lot to her. I mean, duh. Reapers on my level normally don't even get to know who the Boss is, we're just kinda small and tight knit here so it can't be helped.

Oh, you know, weaknesses, food allergies, True Name so the witches can do a ritual to banish her beyond the Furthest Ring, measurements.

[She shakes her head.]

Sorry. I guess what I really want to know is why she's doing this, if you have any idea. Is she also a reaper? Is this just like...farming, or something?

[Coco giggles.] Farming... that's, like, hilarious! I guess you could totally say she is making some seeds of potential grow.

It really is about our powers, then? And forcing us through all of this is what's making them get stronger?

...I don't think I got a power boost this week. What's she going to do now that we've stopped, uh, growing?

If you aren't able to grow any more on your own, then what's next is, like, making someone else grow. And they will totally do the same for you!

Here's, like, a hint. So, there are those blank badges in the store, right? What do you think they're supposed to have on them? [She pauses.] That's a rhetorical question. But if your thoughts are totally in sync, you can visualize it together.

... Yes, she's right. If that's true, then, Coco... would we be able to practice this power, then?

Why do we have to buy everything here, with money that just gets handed to us by the people who trapped us here? I feel like I'm satirizing something.
