[This round really has been different.

The beginning of the week brings memories once more, as everyone finally falls asleep, and soon enough it will become apparent that a new wing has opened up, laying bare the entire mall for the survivors. Still, it is no small comfort. Not when the residents have also been updated, bringing home the very sobering fact that over half of those who arrived here are dead.

There are so few left. The Fabricator has been exposed, and somehow that is hardly a victory. It's clear that whoever is running this intends to hold whatever cards they can until the bitter end. Theirs isn't the first time this Game has been played, after all. They can easily outlast their charges on their home turf.

Yet, there is a strange hope. Maybe there is a way out. The question now is finding it and going on the offensive, before those in charge make their next move. Because they will eventually. There is no doubt. Time is not a luxury the remaining Titled can waste anymore and everyone knows it.

So don't waste it - because the clock is ticking. Prepare yourselves.

Actually, I may be able to get you and Croix something more than just that. Last week I offered to teach Akira how to make some of the tools we use to do things like put guards to sleep or blind an opponent temporarily. There's enough time to make a few and I know the needed materials exist here.

[Or he can improvise. Nice to know how to make stuff like that that doesn't rely on gunpowder to set off.]

As long as it's not gun-shaped, I'm happy to have it. Distraction and evasion are how I'm alive right now, I'll admit that...

Nah, they are canisters that are about the size of your hand. Don't even need good aim in throwing them. It takes longer to teach how to make them than to use them.

The one time I think I've killed something, I was throwing kitchen spice mix in its face. Having something that's actually meant to work that way will be a big improvement...

That would actually be very helpful. I don't have combat capabilities, so if anything goes wrong I don't want to be too much of a detriment to my partner.

Yeah, I think we'll want to make sure you and Joey get the most, but everyone should have at least one.
