FINAL WEEK
[This round really has been different.
The beginning of the week brings memories once more, as everyone finally falls asleep, and soon enough it will become apparent that a new wing has opened up, laying bare the entire mall for the survivors. Still, it is no small comfort. Not when the residents have also been updated, bringing home the very sobering fact that over half of those who arrived here are dead.
There are so few left. The Fabricator has been exposed, and somehow that is hardly a victory. It's clear that whoever is running this intends to hold whatever cards they can until the bitter end. Theirs isn't the first time this Game has been played, after all. They can easily outlast their charges on their home turf.
Yet, there is a strange hope. Maybe there is a way out. The question now is finding it and going on the offensive, before those in charge make their next move. Because they will eventually. There is no doubt. Time is not a luxury the remaining Titled can waste anymore and everyone knows it.
So don't waste it - because the clock is ticking. Prepare yourselves.
There are seven strangers left in this place.]

Only after Akira's last words does Karma's whole body tense up to match the way his cheeks now almost match his hair-color with how much he's blushing. Rendered briefly speechless because he wasn't expecting Akira to actually say something like that. ]
Y-You... Don't say stupid sappy things like that.
[ God he's going to get you back for this. Somehow. Just you wait. ]
We were always friends, not rivals, anyway. We only really fought once and I let him win because his resolve was stronger than mine.

It's rude to insult such a reputable author.
[ ok akira ]
You really didn't realize your feelings before?
[ Your regularly scheduled Trolling will resume after this serious moment. ]

[ It's just a little bit of teasing that he's able to get in there, if the smile on his face says anything. He couldn't resist getting in a bit of his own done before Akira tries to strike again; it was inevitable after all.
Though Karma does hesitate a moment, before exhaling a soft sigh and shaking his head. ]
Not entirely. no. I teased him, did whatever I could to embarrass him but I didn't quite realize that what I was feeling for him... was that. It took my time here, and watching everyone else for it to sink in, if that makes sense.

I'll have you know, the main character of my books, Catalina, is a role model for anyone. Especially those aspiring to live their dream of friendly neighborhood barista by day...
[ He glances from one side, to the other, and then leans in as though he's sharing a deep, dark secret. ]
... rebellious teenager by night. [ DRAMATIC PAUSE. ] Sometimes she doesn't even go right to bed, because she stays up texting friends instead.
[ akira what the fuck ]
Ah... [ fondness in his smile now ] It makes a lot of sense, actually...
[ He's setting his drink down. If it sounds like he's quoting something again? It's because he seriously is quoting something; his expression is serious, albeit a little... fond. ]
It's easier to see something that exists in ourselves, when it's someone else wearing it right in front of us. Whether we accept it, or not, depends on our view of it, as well as the strength of our heart...
