WEEK 1

WEEK 1

[Well, this is...happening. This is a thing. This is your life now. The Commander is expecting you to just up and kill one another, and then try to get away with it. No big deal, right? You guys can handle this. You won't fall for what she has. She's clearly an idiot. A loud idiot, but still an idiot. She's not going to get one over you.

...Right?

In any case, the Commander's quarters are now open for anyone who decides they can actually stand to be in the same room as her, but beware - any favor you might ask of her is going to come at a price, and who knows what she'll ask you to do if you decide to gain a boon from her. Unless you're a suck-up like Baku - then she'll apparently be flattered. Maybe that's a good tactic to use?

Whatever you do, try not to murder the bread again. The Bread Did Nothing Wrong.

...If we removed them all, I feel Commander Marie would just put new ones in their place.
fashionfever: (Smug)

[personal profile] fashionfever 2018-07-19 05:19 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, no, bothering Marie, who would ever want to do that?

She'd have to transport them in from somewhere else too, right? Another way we can try to figure out how she comes and goes whenever she wants!

Assuming there aren't more in storage elsewhere and we simply can't reach it.
fashionfever: (Think)

[personal profile] fashionfever 2018-07-19 05:55 am (UTC)(link)
Well, even going just that far would probably help. We're stuck in such a little space for now.
vividsins: (☆ Just like children)

[personal profile] vividsins 2018-07-19 07:28 am (UTC)(link)
Mm, fair. But there's not really anywhere to store those weapons she can't get to...
fashionfever: (Worry)

[personal profile] fashionfever 2018-07-19 02:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay, then how about breaking the weapons?
vividsins: (17)

[personal profile] vividsins 2018-07-19 04:39 pm (UTC)(link)
That'll be time consuming and she'll just add a new rule about breaking weapons.
fashionfever: (Irritated)

[personal profile] fashionfever 2018-07-19 08:13 pm (UTC)(link)
OK, so we're left with the same amount of weapons as before. But... Now there's a rule against destroying some kinds of evidence? Look, we gotta stay positive.
vividsins: (37)

[personal profile] vividsins 2018-07-19 08:42 pm (UTC)(link)
If you want to stay positive, hm... Let me present a scenario that's about practicality.

You have a bunch of sharks and a bunch of fish in a small enough tank that it's inevitable some of them attack each other. The sharks are intelligent enough, as are the fish, that they realize they have a choice: the sharks can kill all the fish, leaving behind all of the dangerous other sharks in that small space. Or... They can kill other sharks, leaving the harmless fish behind with them.

[ What the fuck, Baku. ]

Now, wouldn't it be more practical for the sharks to kill each other? The other sharks are, after all, threats. Active ones, at that. I don't mean to say anything insulting, but you'd be a fish, Milady Angela. The people who should watch their backs are, above all, the "sharks" of our group. They're more likely to clash against each other.

...

.........

OK, but at some point aren't you going to run out of sharks?
vividsins: (☆ That cling to my legs)

[personal profile] vividsins 2018-07-19 09:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Depends on how long it lasts. Sir Akira only mentioned a few motives. So, logically, we might run out of sharks before the fish become a choice target.

He also didn't make Torri sound like a shark.

Torri definitely wasn't.

[ His brow tenses quite a bit, jawline tightening for a moment. ]

None of the victims were like sharks.

I'm not a marine biologist, but [making chomping motions with her hands] you ever hear about how whales just float along then open their mouths a little and close 'em again? Has that ever happened to a shark? I don't think we feel super reassured right now.
