[Well, this is...happening. This is a thing. This is your life now. The Commander is expecting you to just up and kill one another, and then try to get away with it. No big deal, right? You guys can handle this. You won't fall for what she has. She's clearly an idiot. A loud idiot, but still an idiot. She's not going to get one over you.

...Right?

In any case, the Commander's quarters are now open for anyone who decides they can actually stand to be in the same room as her, but beware - any favor you might ask of her is going to come at a price, and who knows what she'll ask you to do if you decide to gain a boon from her. Unless you're a suck-up like Baku - then she'll apparently be flattered. Maybe that's a good tactic to use?


Whatever you do, try not to murder the bread again. The Bread Did Nothing Wrong.

[This person is probably going need their own circle of hell. Everything is scribbled with questions and observations like “So when God made everything for the Garden did he also think diseas was a good thing? He had to have if he created everything, and it was good.” and ”If God is the WORST scientist ever, why would he not have an actual control group for his projects so he can look at how results he wants to see in humans looks?”

Also ”Jesus is kind of dumb, he could have been more subtle before he usurped power.”]

[D-World is apparently the theme park arm of an animation studio. It's lovingly called D-Pictures or Di-Pictures. It's mascot is an animal of...some kind. It's apparently an American animal.

But it is majorly popular, and recently began a passport program to encourage both world travel and a boost in international earnings for their various theme parks. There's one in Germany, one in Florida, on in California, one in Italy, on in Japan, and one in Brazil.

So whatever it is, it's a big deal.]

[Yes. It says that an animation studio is a company that creates animated media.

[They are beautiful. Most if not all of them were built after Rosie’s time, and several are circled.

Don't those wasp crackers on the first page look delicious?]

But he's searching this book for notes, not the shock value!!]

Apparently, the pastel-writing book-destroyer really likes this weird food. There's a ton of really weird cuisine in here, but out of all of them, one of their absolutely favorite snacks is called huitlacoche in a place called Mexico, aka corn smut.

"DELICIOUS WITH STUFF AND ALWAYS!! :D" is what they say.]

It's a good thing there isn't any of this here so he can try to cook with it and find out.

Well, uh. They have a lot. They seem to especially like casu marzu (cheese allowed to mold over and infested in maggots), century eggs (eggs deliberately rotted under rocks for months), gaebul (a seafood you eat while it's alive and also looks like...er...certain unmentionable genitals...), and hakarl (shark meat fermented over a half-year and thus smells like ammonia).

Oh, and coffee...where the beans were eaten and then pooped out by what looks like cats and/or elephants.

[This person's taste is truly regrettable.... but ok since this is apparently a thing is there mention of how all these dishes (like the corn smut) are cooked]

[The corn smut can be eaten raw, or cooked, in a variety of ways. It's basically like a mushroom, so it's surprisingly versatile. No wonder the book murderer likes it.

The gaebul is basically "scoop the p**** fish out of the sea and eat them while they squirm". Blech.

The hakarl and casu mazu is basically "let sit and ferment for this long, then eat raw". Bleeech.]

[That Gaebul does not seem appropriate for young ladies like Marie to eat, quite frankly.

Well if that's it, then he'll move on to Gardening, though he resents the implication of timidity]

[This is actually an interesting book, because it's a book on hydroponic gardening. Namely involving controlled gardening in an environment where using water might be a problem.]

[That IS pretty neat... but what kind of environment, for example?
