WEEK 1
[Well, this is...happening. This is a thing. This is your life now. The Commander is expecting you to just up and kill one another, and then try to get away with it. No big deal, right? You guys can handle this. You won't fall for what she has. She's clearly an idiot. A loud idiot, but still an idiot. She's not going to get one over you.
...Right?
In any case, the Commander's quarters are now open for anyone who decides they can actually stand to be in the same room as her, but beware - any favor you might ask of her is going to come at a price, and who knows what she'll ask you to do if you decide to gain a boon from her. Unless you're a suck-up like Baku - then she'll apparently be flattered. Maybe that's a good tactic to use?
Whatever you do, try not to murder the bread again. The Bread Did Nothing Wrong.
There are fifteen strangers in this place.]

But when paper and ink is cheap and posting things on computers that anyone can read is cheaper, the written word isn't quite as respected.
no subject
[He just turns up his nose at that. Letting commoners read was clearly a mistake, ok.]
Regardless, the content is probably not as important as the sheer amount of these. It is as though someone was very bored, passing their time alone. I wonder, was the Commander here that long before us?
no subject
[ He frowns... then decides to give some information on the only thing he can offer it for, in case... people don't know? ]
That's a famous painting by Leonardo da Vinci. It's of someone named Lisa Gherardini, and became one of the most-discussed works of art ever.
no subject
[He pauses.]
Hold on, did you say Leonardo da Vinci?

[Sure, he likes learning, but he's exhausted.]

I suppose I should develop more of an appreciation for paintings whence I return. It is no wonder he remains famous in your time, but I know him better as the brilliant inventor behind some of our war machines.... as a painter, I know him more for his card art.
no subject
That's what makes him so impressive, in my opinion. He is amazing for far more than just his art, even if hundreds of years can easily take a toll on information.
[ Annnnd after a pause... ]
But... card art...?
no subject
[Rosenkreuz explains this really easily, as though he expected the question. He's had this conversation before... thinking about that makes him chuckle.]
The Rose Duelist was surprised too. It appears they became lost by the modern age.

Rose Duelist...
[ This is... reminding him of that one anime he enjoyed as a kid, holy shit. For a moment, he stares at the guy. But then he gives a small smile and nod. ]
If you ever get any of those cards here, you'll have to show me...
no subject
[he doesn't know about the roulette, it's a future tech thing and he has no idea what it's for.]
no subject
[ He twists a strand of bangs. ]
I'll show you how it works, if you want? I haven't fully looked into how it goes here, but it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out. It looks like we have to play a stupid game, though, for some of it.
no subject
So, the items that were taken from us are now being used as prizes for an attraction. I'll make her pay for that...
[He had some very important things, you see.]
But naturally, I'm not afraid of gambling. I'd like to see it.
no subject
If I'm being honest, it fully feels like we're being mocked. So, I'm all aboard the Payment Train.
[ A small smile does surface at that last part, though! ]
All right. Then, if you don't have anything to do after the meeting, we can head right over once we're finished here.
no subject
Very well, thank you.
no subject
[ Gesturing to the All or Nothing. ]
Though, that game is honestly terrible......
