WEEK 1

WEEK 1

[Well, this is...happening. This is a thing. This is your life now. The Commander is expecting you to just up and kill one another, and then try to get away with it. No big deal, right? You guys can handle this. You won't fall for what she has. She's clearly an idiot. A loud idiot, but still an idiot. She's not going to get one over you.

...Right?

In any case, the Commander's quarters are now open for anyone who decides they can actually stand to be in the same room as her, but beware - any favor you might ask of her is going to come at a price, and who knows what she'll ask you to do if you decide to gain a boon from her. Unless you're a suck-up like Baku - then she'll apparently be flattered. Maybe that's a good tactic to use?

Whatever you do, try not to murder the bread again. The Bread Did Nothing Wrong.

There are fifteen strangers in this place.]

But the difference is that in a theater you are there for a show. If the audience isn't enchanted with my performance then I am doing something wrong.

Yeah. Big planes for long flights sometimes have screens on the seats with games or movies for individual riders, but...

[They're kind of crappy.]

Airships in fiction are always so much cooler.

Why would they be fictional when it's very possible to create something like what we have? It sounds like where you come from is far more advanced than we are.

I think...a lot of things factor in. Zeppelins would be like an airship, but there aren't a lot of those anymore, and definitely none for people to ride.

It makes me really wonder why we do things so differently. I mean, even each nation has their preference for forms of travel, but those tend to be based on needs, the size of the nation, and how advanced they are.

I think efficiency must be a big part of it. People traveling by plane usually just want to get somewhere. People looking for more luxury would travel by train or cruise ship.
