[One hour after the execution, prisoners who have gone back down to the dorm floor will find Angela waving outside the mess hall.]
In honor of what Akira definitely would have wanted and Vita probably at least would have laughed about, we're all having dinner together.
[There's pots of coffee, and glasses of soda, and something like garlic bread, and spaghetti, and it sounds like there's even more food cooking in the kitchen.]
This would be a great time to share anything you got from playing ET, too, you know? [She's just trying to start conversation about literally anything else...]

... Mister Passepartout, I ascended to Godhood quite some time ago. It was by choice, however.
[ That's... a gentler way to put it, he supposes. ]
I know a great deal about what does and does not hurt. I also have studied the human body well enough to know these things; I went to medical school.

[ A long pause. ]
May I ask why you made this choice? I understand if this is too personal a question.

She left him... or she died, too. Who knows. ]
... There was a number of factors, really. Many things happened, but the answer is really very simple: the world that I saw was very dirty, quite literally, festering. I wanted to... become clean. Submerging myself in water seemed the best solution. Nothing could scrub the parasites out of my mind, after all.
[ He's sure there's some kind of irony to it. Him ignoring the world, holding his breath until his end. ]
