[Awaken.

Fifteen strangers have been gathered to the Depths.

When the strangers awaken, they will feel nauseous in their stomachs. No doubt confused. Maybe a little sick, Perhaps, even terrified. And certainly, there is a good reason for it - they are not where they were before. If they had powers back where they came from, they seem to be all gone. And it appears that someone has left...guidelines for them. All of them addressed to a specific Title.

Their Title. Somehow, each person knows, upon seeing this, this is their Title, even if it seems to make no sense whatsoever. And its clear that whoever wrote these things knew it as well. Who was it?

Its uncertain. So far, there seems to be no one else save for them, and those who dare to venture out of their rooms - save, for some reason, the individuals in rooms 1, 8 and 7 - in this hot and stuffy place. No...'intercessor' to be seen yet, certainly. No outward signs that there's anyone else aside from the people with 'Titles'.


So, Titled: welcome.

Unless I shot him. He's pretty good at not getting shot, though, so that doesn't seem likely.

Yeah, but that's not going to be a problem any more, is it-

[She is impressed instead of alarmed, from the sound of things, and is staring at her hands.]

Hey, are you seeing this?

[Yes that is excitement, not pain or terror.]

[Hey, this is a perfectly reasonable solution! From her experiences, anyways. At least she's not saying it's fine to kill them, so that's a plus, right??]

It's okay. I don't lock up people who piss me off. [Well whatever that means]

"That's true, though we would have to find other garments to wear in exchange. One set of clothing, doing double duty between their actual purpose and acting as bedclothes, would soon lead to rather terrible wear and tear."

Not to mention his clothes... aren't exactly the highest quality. He finds the nicest-looking things he can, but they're still deceptively cheap and rather thin. He's already sewn up seams in the blazer he's wearing a few times.

Necronomicon? From the name alone, Yusuke can't imagine what Futaba's Persona must look like, though he knows it must be far more bizarre than any of the other Thieves'... at least from what memories he has of them. Wanting to recall what he's apparently forgotten has little to do with curiosity over that, however.

"My phone is missing as well. I also attempted to summon Goemon before I emerged from my room, to no avail. Either we aren't in the Metaverse or something has been done to seal our Personas." Yusuke frowns. "Both possibilities are equally alarming in their own ways."

An idea springs to mind, the same one he keeps having and yet is unable to completely dismiss. But to speak of it to someone who isn't part of the Phantom Thieves, especially when he barely knows much about it himself....

If Rubedo can help, then perhaps he should say something. Clearly Yusuke is struggling with it, biting his lip delicately before speaking.

"There is a strange phenomenon present in the world from which Futaba and I originate. It is not something I speak of lightly, but perhaps you can make something of it with the theories you've already crafted. I must swear you to secrecy before I continue."

At least Yusuke doesn't press his luck by approaching when McBurn retreats. He drops his hand to his side, aware that he's made a bit of a faux pas. Social cues are so difficult.

The man's comment makes him raise an eyebrow, his mistake momentarily forgotten. "A freak of nature...? If I might ask, just what do you mean by that?"

"It's a rather cold tactic, but an effective one nonetheless. Should we take a vote amongst ourselves to see about forcing any occupants in the locked rooms to reveal their presence?"

"Ah...."

Okay, why is the rather casually homicidal woman able to wield fire? Considering his Persona makes him weak to fire attacks (even if he can't summon Goemon here), Yusuke is doubly nervous.

"There have been some odd occurrences today. The presence of blood, torn pictures, and some other items. As if an attack had happened, but we cannot seem to find who caused it or who the victim might be."

[She was going to head straight to the kitchen. But seeing as everyone seems preoccupied, she's going to look at the shelves. Because who uses gold cutlery? It looks showy, any cravings to make them even gaudier?]

I found this. It looks like another drawing.

[She slides the bit of paper across the table.

Huh... words...?

[Futaba starts reading them off out loud for the group as she goes over them curiously.]

What the heck? It's like a list but it doesn't make any sense.

OF COURSE! THEY WERE THE TASTIEST OF EGGS TOO FROM THE MIGHTY AND NOBLE AND GENEROUS MAPLE SUGAR DINOS! THE MOST DELICIOUS OF DINO EGGS TOSSED IN WITH OATMEAL AND CASUALLY TOSSED BY THE BOX INTO THE UNDERGROUND WHEN IT WAS PAST THE EXPIRATION DATE BY HUMANS.

IT'S DELICIOUS! EVEN IF YOU SOMETIMES END UP EATING THE SUPER TINY GREEN AND RED BABIES IN THE BOWL. BUT WHEN I FIND THOSE I JUST HAVE SANS SEND THEM BACK TO THE SURFACE. SOMEHOW.

Lord Naofumi mentioned it before...[It felt like only yesterday, but they'd been traveling longer than that. Hadn't they?]

Oh! You found a good one? [She almost grins, then her face falls.] ...It's the only good one isn't it?

Is everything written here in that language? [Head tilt.]

Some of those sound like names or titles.

Really? I haven't been able to read anything here.

Well, I guess there could be others... who knows what languages we all use.

[She can't even begin to guess with Papyrus. A couple of the others seem like they could be from different countries-- she doesn't know. But studying coding, she also studied English, so there were at least two she would recognize.]

Some of them could be. But there are also names here, too... do any of these mean anything to anyone?

It's not Japanese. I can't read it but I've seen the runes for it, and they don't look like this. Are they really names? I thought they sounded right but I've never met anyone called that.

Maple sugar dinos? Babies? [...] Wait... you mean it's some kind of human food?

[That somehow brings things things back into line in her mind. That totally sounds like a Western food kind of thing.]

Humans don't eat dinosaur eggs. Dinosaurs are extinct. They're probably just some kind of sugary shapes they mixed in or something.

Nope. And they sound like English names, too. So I wouldn't know any of them.

[She doesn't exactly follow the news or media for America, so she's not getting anywhere with this by herself.]

But you're familiar with Japanese?
