WEEK 1
[Awaken.
Fifteen strangers have been gathered to the Depths.
When the strangers awaken, they will feel nauseous in their stomachs. No doubt confused. Maybe a little sick, Perhaps, even terrified. And certainly, there is a good reason for it - they are not where they were before. If they had powers back where they came from, they seem to be all gone. And it appears that someone has left...guidelines for them. All of them addressed to a specific Title.
Their Title. Somehow, each person knows, upon seeing this, this is their Title, even if it seems to make no sense whatsoever. And its clear that whoever wrote these things knew it as well. Who was it?
Its uncertain. So far, there seems to be no one else save for them, and those who dare to venture out of their rooms - save, for some reason, the individuals in rooms 1, 8 and 7 - in this hot and stuffy place. No...'intercessor' to be seen yet, certainly. No outward signs that there's anyone else aside from the people with 'Titles'.
So, Titled: welcome.
There are fifteen strangers in this place.]
Kitchen
[By this point Eric mostly looks nervous. Though, he makes a face at the killed animals the kid is poking.]
God, are those real? That's disgusting.
no subject
[ Killua just looks over at Eric as if nothing was wrong, not even cringing or seeming bothered by the dead animals or why the other would seem bothered by it.
Then again this was a kid who's seen and done much, MUCH worse in his short life so far, so this was nothing. ]
It's just dead animals. It's essentially our food here and we'll have to cook them if we want to survive.
no subject
[LIKE THE STORE? He does not believe that they are actually back in history, so just go to the damn store]
Instead they had to kill some cute bunnies fresh just for, I dunno, atmosphere or something. I don't get why there's this over the top medieval theme to begin with... I feel sorry for them.
[Honestly the over empathizing is probably a sign of stress getting to him early.]
no subject
That's enough to make Killua raise an eyebrow and stare somewhat blankly at him before exhaling a sigh and his lips curled into something of a subtle sneer. This man was already losing it, wasn't he? ]
I doubt feeling sorry for them is going to do anything. They likely have everything set up like this for a reason.
[ Killua raised a hand up to poke at one of the dead rabbits without even so much as blinking. ]
They're not for atmosphere. Trust me. There could be worse things strewn up here on hooks so at least these are edible.
no subject
Worse things... what are you imagining?
no subject
They could have put bodies up here, or something rotting. To drive their point across here of what they want us to do.
no subject
[He didn't read the letter, you see.]
no subject
You should read the letter that was in your room. Everyone got one.
[ Totally going to reach into his pocket and pull out his own letter, waving it before the other man with a small sigh. ]
no subject
[Eric's going to try and swipe it.]
no subject
Are you really that desperate to read it that you'd take it from a kid?
[ Yeah. He went there. ]
no subject
Who cares? It's just a stupid letter, right? I'm not even sure I got one, so come on...!
[If there's something in there about corpses or rotting, he needs to know before those things happen to him.]
no subject
It listed some kinda title and all the rules of how this place works, you know.
[ Going to wave the letter back and forth with a cheeky smile in place. ]
Can't believe you woke up here and didn't bother to check your surroundings for anything that might seem important. How dumb are you, anyway?
no subject
[This really sucks. He wanted to be reunited with Mira and the others right away...]
no subject
Even if the random letter in question lists the things you'll need to do to get out of here? Must not want to get back that quickly if you overlook something like that.
no subject
[Also, this is starting to sound fishy to begin with. He bets the dumb kid is just trying to fool him.]
And if that thing really says the way out, what are you still doing here? Think you're so smart.
no subject
His lips curled upward in an almost menacing smile and his eyes narrowed just a touch; almost ruining that feeling of 'childlike innocence' that had been coming from him before. ]
The only way out of here is to murder someone else. I'm still here because i'm not stupid enough to blindly do as they told us to..
[ His head cants to the side, and it'd be evident from the cold, almost empty look in his eyes that there's something akin to bloodlust there for just a fleeting moment when he makes his gaze meet Eric's. ]
Not unless you're willing to sacrifice your life up so the rest of us can get out of here. [ A sigh escapes him and suddenly all of that just drops back into how he was before; as if the darkness hadn't just existed like that. ] Not likely, though. I don't doubt that they really do want us to kill each other for some kind of sick amusement ..
no subject
H-Hey you little punk... If you talk about stuff like sacrificing people, someone might think you're serious...
[He still looks more nervous than anything, even shaking a bit, but it's the vicious nervousness of a cornered rat. The kind that looks like it could lash out. Instead he sticks his hands under his pits in an attempt to calm himself down.
Murder to get out... how many? Where he'd come from it was six out of nine. What's two thirds out of fifteen? And is Mira here?]
no subject
Shaking his head, Killua turned somewhat away from the taller blonde in a fairly casual, almost bored motion. ]
I might not be serious about it but other people here might be willing to do such a thing.
[ That's about when he turned away fully and took a few steps toward the kitchen entrance before glancing over his shoulder at him. ]
Besides. To me, you wouldn't be worth killing. It'd be way too easy.
[ A few seconds linger to let that sink in before Killua moves to finally exit the kitchen; like he'd said nothing wrong. ]
