WEEK 1
[Awaken.
Fifteen strangers have been gathered to the Depths.
When the strangers awaken, they will feel nauseous in their stomachs. No doubt confused. Maybe a little sick, Perhaps, even terrified. And certainly, there is a good reason for it - they are not where they were before. If they had powers back where they came from, they seem to be all gone. And it appears that someone has left...guidelines for them. All of them addressed to a specific Title.
Their Title. Somehow, each person knows, upon seeing this, this is their Title, even if it seems to make no sense whatsoever. And its clear that whoever wrote these things knew it as well. Who was it?
Its uncertain. So far, there seems to be no one else save for them, and those who dare to venture out of their rooms - save, for some reason, the individuals in rooms 1, 8 and 7 - in this hot and stuffy place. No...'intercessor' to be seen yet, certainly. No outward signs that there's anyone else aside from the people with 'Titles'.
So, Titled: welcome.
There are fifteen strangers in this place.]

Oh. So it's like a festival, then. That sounds kinda cool.
[Not that any of this stuff would be recognizable to her as being from the middle ages or anything, but she'll take his word for it.
She'll keep an eye on him as he swings the hammer again, though. From her point of view, she probably has the advantage if he decided to suddenly go on the offensive, but who knows. Maybe he was good at hiding his true strength.]
Yup. Wish I just had my gunblades back, though. [She glances at the daggers and handles one of them experimentally, but it's clear she isn't super happy with them.]
no subject
[He's sure he's seen something like that in a video game, but that didn't seem like something that would exist in real life. Also, she is a kid. Why would she have weapons? He leans his hammer on the ground to watch her, a mix of cautiousness and genuine curiosity.]
Wow, you actually look like you know what you're doing with that...
no subject
[I mean, if they sell them at every city she's visited...
She gives a shrug at his observation.]
I was taught how to use them a long time ago. You don't look like you know how to use that, though. [Eying that hammer of his...]
no subject
Why would I? People don't fight with this kind of thing anymore... I just thought it looked intimidating. Or like those strength test things, I guess.
[Anyway, how hard could it be? You just have to hit something with it really hard right?!]
no subject
probablysome jaegers around that still use them.]Soooo... you just wanted to try 'em out because you're insecure?
[That's what it sounds like to her??]
no subject
It's not like that. I happen to like stuff like this... just as a hobby, though.
no subject
You like collecting these things? Guess it's okay as long as you don't hurt yourself.
no subject
I mostly just strike some cool poses with them. Take a few pictures, and stuff like that. No one gets hurt!
no subject
Do you show those off to your 'girlfriend' too? [She doesn't make real air quotes but Eric can probably hear them anyways.]
no subject
[A simple text with only the word "cool" in it definitely means that she actually thought they were cool.]
no subject
...
Actually you know what, let's just ask.]
So what kinda poses did you make? [Demonstrate for her, Eric. Show her that you truly can be a Cool Weapon Dude.]
no subject
[This is not going to have the same effect when he is not in cosplay, but. He'll do a few poses kinda like these. ]
no subject
You looked a little constipated.
no subject
Well... it takes practice to make that kind of face! I'm too used to smiling.
no subject
'Cause of your girlfriend? [Considering how big a sap he was, she can see him smiling saccharinely at her everytime they meet...]
no subject
Oh! Of course, I'm always smiling when we're out together! But, I usually smile all the rest of the time too. It's kind of a habit.
[He pauses for just a second, before deciding he'll give this explanation.]
I work in an ice cream shop. [The customer service smile. Not necessarily about happiness.]
no subject
Hmmm. I'll have some lemon gelato, then.
no subject
Coming right up! ... If there's stuff to make it with anyway.
[He does think there could be a chance. Surely they aren't going to push the theme that far!! But for now he'll just chuckle.]
no subject
It'd go well with how stuffy it is here. Might be good for morale, too. [Is that an actual smile on her face? It's small, but apparently it is because who can resist ice cream.]
no subject
[Bringing smiles is one of the many great things about ice cream, which he genuinely loves - that's why he would be okay with making some, as long as they were stuck here anyway. Better than being stuck in some dark hellhole without ice cream, that's for sure.]
