[Awaken.

Fifteen strangers have been gathered to the Depths.

When the strangers awaken, they will feel nauseous in their stomachs. No doubt confused. Maybe a little sick, Perhaps, even terrified. And certainly, there is a good reason for it - they are not where they were before. If they had powers back where they came from, they seem to be all gone. And it appears that someone has left...guidelines for them. All of them addressed to a specific Title.

Their Title. Somehow, each person knows, upon seeing this, this is their Title, even if it seems to make no sense whatsoever. And its clear that whoever wrote these things knew it as well. Who was it?

Its uncertain. So far, there seems to be no one else save for them, and those who dare to venture out of their rooms - save, for some reason, the individuals in rooms 1, 8 and 7 - in this hot and stuffy place. No...'intercessor' to be seen yet, certainly. No outward signs that there's anyone else aside from the people with 'Titles'.


So, Titled: welcome.

[Eric shakes his head. This is so annoying... He finally decides to let go of him, stepping back so he can cross his arms and look him over.]

What's the big deal about a human anyway? You trying to impress some girl?

[Yeah right.... that can't be it. Everything about this is fake anyway.]

I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, MUST CAPTURE A HUMAN SO I MAY BECOME PART OF THE ROYAL GUARD! WELL, THAT AND OUR KING NEEDS ONE LAST HUMAN TO SAVE ALL OF MONSTER KIND FROM BEING TRAPPED UNDERGROUND, BUT BEING THE NEWEST MEMBER OF THE ROYAL GUARD!! BEING ADMIRED AND LOVED AND REMEMBERED FOR MY AMAZING ACTIONS!!

IT'S ALL FOR A VERY GOOD CAUSE, HUMAN!!

Jeez, now this is just sounding like some kind of convoluted tabletop campaign....

[A beat, before that last thing Papyrus said sinks in and he holds up his hands defensively.]

Wait, don't try to convince me!

I DON'T NEED TO CONVINCE YOU OF SOMETHING THAT'S TRUE!

And I don't need to know the truth because I'm not going. I'm getting out of here!

[This seems like a good time to walk away and keep looking for a way out... but he kind of wants to keep an eye on the suspicious character too. Being paranoid is a struggle.]
