[Awaken.

Fifteen strangers have been gathered to the Depths.

When the strangers awaken, they will feel nauseous in their stomachs. No doubt confused. Maybe a little sick, Perhaps, even terrified. And certainly, there is a good reason for it - they are not where they were before. If they had powers back where they came from, they seem to be all gone. And it appears that someone has left...guidelines for them. All of them addressed to a specific Title.

Their Title. Somehow, each person knows, upon seeing this, this is their Title, even if it seems to make no sense whatsoever. And its clear that whoever wrote these things knew it as well. Who was it?

Its uncertain. So far, there seems to be no one else save for them, and those who dare to venture out of their rooms - save, for some reason, the individuals in rooms 1, 8 and 7 - in this hot and stuffy place. No...'intercessor' to be seen yet, certainly. No outward signs that there's anyone else aside from the people with 'Titles'.


So, Titled: welcome.

It's a start, I guess, but haven't they ever heard of guns in this place?

[A momentary pause.]

You know what all this stuff is here for anyway?

Guess not. They took the ones I had on me, too.

[RIP her gunblades. Where they are now she has no damn clue. But uh, it looks like not everyone read the letter. Maybe she should break this gently??]

I think they want us to murder each other.

[Well she seems.... surprisingly calm about that revelation, and in fact all she really does is pick up a huge spikey thing that's maybe a war-hammer and heft it experimentally.]

Do we know why? Is this like a game show or something?

[Fie's is not well-equipped to deal with hysterics, so it's good that Harley isn't freaking out. She's keeping an eye on the other girl to make sure she doesn't try anything, although her posture is relaxed enough.]

Game show? [What is that, she comes from Industrial Revolution the JRPG with computers idek here.]

Dunno, but it was written on a letter in the room.

Huh. Wonder if this place is some kind of satirical commentary on the Hunger Games. Maybe all this is being televised. I can think of a few people who might do that, actually, but I'm not sure any of them have the resources for this kind of setup.

[She's musing out loud, gently swinging the war hammer in a thoughtful sort of way as she talks.]

[You lost her, man. But whatever, she'll roll with it.]

You know some weird people.

You're telling me. You wouldn't believe the number of costumed crazies who are always around back home.

[This tally, naturally, excludes the Joker. Batman, however, now if anyone qualifies....]

It's already pretty weird if they're running around in costumes all the time. Do they steal stuff and leave riddles around too?

[Remembering a certain Phantom Thief Asshole here...]

[She immediately perks right up]

Hang on, you know Eddie? You have any idea how he's doing? I haven't seen him since the Bat got him last time.

[zephyranthe]

[What... she's pretty sure that guy's name was not Eddie, but then again he totally lied to their face about his identity in the first place, so maybe it could be. Not that she knows what this "Bat" refers to.

So Fie just blinks once, twice, and...]

Nope. No clue.

[Someone else would probably be better at clearing up this misunderstanding, but Fie is not really that person.]
