WEEK 1
[Awaken.
Fifteen strangers have been gathered to the Depths.
When the strangers awaken, they will feel nauseous in their stomachs. No doubt confused. Maybe a little sick, Perhaps, even terrified. And certainly, there is a good reason for it - they are not where they were before. If they had powers back where they came from, they seem to be all gone. And it appears that someone has left...guidelines for them. All of them addressed to a specific Title.
Their Title. Somehow, each person knows, upon seeing this, this is their Title, even if it seems to make no sense whatsoever. And its clear that whoever wrote these things knew it as well. Who was it?
Its uncertain. So far, there seems to be no one else save for them, and those who dare to venture out of their rooms - save, for some reason, the individuals in rooms 1, 8 and 7 - in this hot and stuffy place. No...'intercessor' to be seen yet, certainly. No outward signs that there's anyone else aside from the people with 'Titles'.
So, Titled: welcome.
There are fifteen strangers in this place.]

(Of all his brothers, he is the most like his mother, the will of the mountain glacier to wait) ]
To intercede implies not necessarily success. [ He points out again ] Only that you try. And keep trying. You do not know if they will heed you or not until you do. Understand that my life means nothing and I will remove myself from the game, if that is what it takes.
no subject
No. You...you do not need to lay down your life like that. I can keep trying. So long as you understand that it is likely as futile as pleading for the lives of anyone else here in the Depths.

You speak to the last of Feanor's sons - and we are long familiar with impossible odds. Did we not spend our lives on a hopeless war? But though we lost everything, I will not say it was not well done, that we stood so long against the dark. Of all our deeds, both the great and the terrible, the fact that we tried to hold, I do not regret.
You do not know what may come from your actions. But if you do not plead for them, you are as complicit as our captors, whether or not you succeed.
[ A wry smile ] And I meant it, when I said my life is nothing - I am old, Intercessor, and weary. Truly they told us that we would envy Men. I will not fight, when death comes for me.

...As I said, I will try. Even for you.

I am not worth the effort. [ He says simply ] Accursed and Exile, Kinslayer, Oathtaker, and perhaps Oathbreaker, in the end. [ He names his sins without flinching, no matter how badly it must hurt ]
Save the children, Intercessor. It is probably time and past time that my dues came calling.
