[Awaken.

Fifteen strangers have been gathered to the Depths.

When the strangers awaken, they will feel nauseous in their stomachs. No doubt confused. Maybe a little sick, Perhaps, even terrified. And certainly, there is a good reason for it - they are not where they were before. If they had powers back where they came from, they seem to be all gone. And it appears that someone has left...guidelines for them. All of them addressed to a specific Title.

Their Title. Somehow, each person knows, upon seeing this, this is their Title, even if it seems to make no sense whatsoever. And its clear that whoever wrote these things knew it as well. Who was it?

Its uncertain. So far, there seems to be no one else save for them, and those who dare to venture out of their rooms - save, for some reason, the individuals in rooms 1, 8 and 7 - in this hot and stuffy place. No...'intercessor' to be seen yet, certainly. No outward signs that there's anyone else aside from the people with 'Titles'.


So, Titled: welcome.

[Okay, now that strikes a familiar chord, although it's vague enough that he could be talking about something else entirely. No harm asking, either way.]

Yeah, but you probably have no clue what I'm talking about since most people have never even heard of Ouroboros. Not like it matters much until I find some method besides murder to get back to Erebonia.

[Well, okay then. At that admission, while she won't tense up, her attention will markedly be focused on him. She knows he's probably not one to be taken lightly either way by his level of skill alone, but his affiliation isn't helping considering Ouroboros was supposed to have connections to the terrorists and other sketchy yhings. They aren't enemies yet at least, but that could easily change.]

I've heard of 'em. Heard they're pretty bad news, too.

[There's no noticeable change in McBurn's own demeanor when Fie mentions recognizing the name. That just gave a few potential groups that the girl could belong to and she's probably not from the Septian Church in those clothes.]

Only to those who wish to oppose us. Though if they could give me a good fight, I'd welcome such opposition.

[With things as they are, she won't complain if he doesn't care to make a move since they have bigger fish to fry here.]

Sounds like too much of a hassle in this place. I'd pass. [That, and she's not even sure if she could win in this case. She has some confidence in her skills, but she knows her limits, too. Still, maybe this is a good chance to find out something about what Ouroboros wants with getting involved in Erebonian affairs.]

Why're you guys so concerned with Erebonia anyways?

You're assuming we care about any nation in Zemuria.

[You know, that should probably set off alarm bells but it's not like the jaegers she used to hang out with really cared about most of the nations beyond what would be most profitable and fun for them, so...]

You guys cared enough to mess around with stuff. [Unless Ouroboros runs on a policy of doing things for shits and giggles, she's pretty sure they have some ulterior motive.]

[Considering some of the Enforcers do indeed do things for shits and giggles, one can never know.]

We have something we came to do. Once that is finished we'll leave. Not like it matters now because once we show ourselves, it's already too late to stop us.

[Well that isn't ominous or anything. Still, she doesn't remember them making any moves yet, so that's... good, but there's something that bothers her considering what she last remembers and that weird gap she has in her memories. It's important, but... maybe it was part of getting knocked out and dragged here, but she can't recall it. And as tempting as it may be to find out what she's missing from someone who comes from the same place as her, it's too dangerous, considering who she's talking to.

I guess there's no point talking about that here anyways. That stuff won't matter if we can't get back.
