[Awaken.

Fifteen strangers have been gathered to the Depths.

When the strangers awaken, they will feel nauseous in their stomachs. No doubt confused. Maybe a little sick, Perhaps, even terrified. And certainly, there is a good reason for it - they are not where they were before. If they had powers back where they came from, they seem to be all gone. And it appears that someone has left...guidelines for them. All of them addressed to a specific Title.

Their Title. Somehow, each person knows, upon seeing this, this is their Title, even if it seems to make no sense whatsoever. And its clear that whoever wrote these things knew it as well. Who was it?

Its uncertain. So far, there seems to be no one else save for them, and those who dare to venture out of their rooms - save, for some reason, the individuals in rooms 1, 8 and 7 - in this hot and stuffy place. No...'intercessor' to be seen yet, certainly. No outward signs that there's anyone else aside from the people with 'Titles'.


So, Titled: welcome.

How's this even supposed to be a puzzle?

EASY! YOU GO THROUGH THE MAZE TO GET OUT OF THIS AREA, AND DON'T GET CAUGHT! AND IF YOU DO GET CAUGHT, IT MEANS I'VE CAPTURED YOU! NYEH-HEH-HEH!

THEN I RELEASE YOU SO YOU CAN TRY AGAIN UNTIL YOU GET IT RIGHT. IT'S VERY FIENDISHLY CLEVER, ISN'T IT?

[She'll nudge a trap lightly with her foot to test its sensitivity, although she'll leave it alone after it doesn't get set off.]

What happens if I win?

[SNAP! It snaps together, the cushioning stopping it from going all the way like it normally would. Clearly Papyrus is not in this for the maiming.]

I SHOW THE RESULTS TO THE NOT SANS AND PROCEED TO MAKE A MORE DIFFICULT PUZZLE! BUT NOT TOO DIFFICULT! HAVING A PUZZLE THAT'S TOO HARD TOO SOON COULD RUIN WHAT WE'RE TRYING TO DO!

[Well... you know what, since it's relatively safe to handle right now, she'll just loot that trap by dumping it in her room. Maybe she should just take all of them or something... but she doesn't want to unwrap all that cloth.]

So you're just gonna keep making puzzles? ...Can you at least leave it for later in the day? [She is not on board with these shenanigans at all.]

[Which she probably won't visit much. She gives a noncommittal shrug about the bear trap, though.]

[Well, he believed that surprisingly easily. Fie's not going to complain since it's less hassle for her, but that doesn't solve the main problem since she fully expects him to stay there until everyone else bypasses him. As much as she'd love to go back to sleep, she's pretty sure he'll just wake her up again with the noise, so she might as well get some food.

Or maybe he'll give up if she actually humors him... so yeah, she'll actually navigate that maze, although she'll step over traps if they're too closely bunched together. Success......?]

HUMAN! IT APPEARS YOU HAVE CONQUERED MY CLEVERLY-CRAFTED PUZZLE!! YOU MAY NOW PROCEED TO...WHEREVER YOU WERE PLANNING ON GOING!

Woo hoo. [She is so excited, don't you see, Papyrus?]

Are gonna stay here all day? [Is she going to be greeted with bear traps until curfew...?]

WELL! SINCE YOU SOLVED MY PUZZLE, I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WILL DISMANTLE MY PUZZLE AND PREPARE FOR THE NEXT ONE!

[Oh. That was actually easier than expected. So all this means is that someone has to solve the puzzles before he moves all this crap out of the way?

You should prepare the next one in your room. You can invite people over while you're at it.
