[Awaken.

Fifteen strangers have been gathered to the Depths.

When the strangers awaken, they will feel nauseous in their stomachs. No doubt confused. Maybe a little sick, Perhaps, even terrified. And certainly, there is a good reason for it - they are not where they were before. If they had powers back where they came from, they seem to be all gone. And it appears that someone has left...guidelines for them. All of them addressed to a specific Title.

Their Title. Somehow, each person knows, upon seeing this, this is their Title, even if it seems to make no sense whatsoever. And its clear that whoever wrote these things knew it as well. Who was it?

Its uncertain. So far, there seems to be no one else save for them, and those who dare to venture out of their rooms - save, for some reason, the individuals in rooms 1, 8 and 7 - in this hot and stuffy place. No...'intercessor' to be seen yet, certainly. No outward signs that there's anyone else aside from the people with 'Titles'.


So, Titled: welcome.

That's a good idea. He got a letter too, so he should recognize handwriting on something...

I have to wonder if he's the one behind all this though.

[It is in Eric's nature to be suspicious, but also, he really has no idea how anyone could get into his room. That guy was like a shadowy ghost, what if he can slip through cracks or walk through walls!!]

They'd have to be a really good liar. They have a lot of wrong information about us that they acted upset to find out about, and they sounded really mad when I brought up whoever gave it to them. Plus they said they were given a choice of keep an eye on us or die, and that the people in charge here saw them as an enemy. I ended up changing the subject after that, since it sounded like it really bothered them.

[Okay huh, that's... interesting. He's grateful he told him on some level, but it doesn't mean he's willing to drop this.]

Even if all of that is true, I don't see how it proves Intercessor couldn't have done all this stuff. If they're enemies, maybe he's trying to sabotage what they're trying to do or something... we can't rule it out.

They definitely don't want us killing each other. But until I talked to them...I think they thought we were dangerous. They said this world has mindless monsters that are created by a race that isn't human or related to humans, and that they thought that's what we were.

That's what they described them like. They called them constructs. From the description, they sounded a little like animalistic bioweapons. But I don't think they knew much about them aside from that.

Maybe if some people didn't already go around talking about being bioweapons...

[He is so affronted? He is not a monster, even if he can sparkle now.]

That's just because I am one. But he didn't think that's what we were. He thought we were the things that made them.

I guess that makes a little more sense, but we're obviously human.

[He frowns at that, though, because since when can a human do what he was suddenly able to do.

Well, best not to think about that.]

There's no way we can be anything but humans, so...

You might be human. I'm a URTV. There's lots of things that look like humans but aren't.

[Wait... did he just make a sex joke. Eric suddenly busts out laughing, though he stifles it after a second and a half. He hates that it was funny!]

[If he doesn't get it then ... well, Eric is probably a terrible person for this, but whatever.]

You can make them in a laboratory like Frankenstein, right?
