[Awaken.

Fifteen strangers have been gathered to the Depths.

When the strangers awaken, they will feel nauseous in their stomachs. No doubt confused. Maybe a little sick, Perhaps, even terrified. And certainly, there is a good reason for it - they are not where they were before. If they had powers back where they came from, they seem to be all gone. And it appears that someone has left...guidelines for them. All of them addressed to a specific Title.

Their Title. Somehow, each person knows, upon seeing this, this is their Title, even if it seems to make no sense whatsoever. And its clear that whoever wrote these things knew it as well. Who was it?

Its uncertain. So far, there seems to be no one else save for them, and those who dare to venture out of their rooms - save, for some reason, the individuals in rooms 1, 8 and 7 - in this hot and stuffy place. No...'intercessor' to be seen yet, certainly. No outward signs that there's anyone else aside from the people with 'Titles'.


So, Titled: welcome.

[Well that was the weirdest staring contest she's gotten into totally won that one though

Although now that he's got her attention, she's going to basically just watch him stare at people as she tries to figure out what he's doing. Maybe if she can't figure it out she'll ask but... eh. For now she's content to drill a hole in his face with her gaze.]

[Not like he was trying to win. He has plenty of people to stare at and well it may be hard to figure out anything more than something is just off about him actually giving a damn to even look at the people around him. She also might pick up that he's paying more attention to the meeting than he's letting on.]

[Clearly they should engage in a real staring contest to prove who's the very best at making people uncomfortable!!

Anyways, she might not know McBurn well, but he does seem more interested in everyone relative to what she's seen in passing here. Still, bloody statues appearing in peoples' rooms are everybody's business, so it's also not too unusual for him to be invested in this, considering people are discussing thoughts of who the culprit(s) may be.

Well, at least maybe he'll cooperate if she asks for something, then.]

Do you have the letter they gave you?

[He yawns again as Fie addresses him, though it sounds very fake this time.]

Nah. I memorized it and destroyed it.

[But then, what would one expect from a high ranking member of a shady group like Ouroboros?]

[Well dammit McDude, she wanted to see if the handwriting was different on everyone's or just Eric's but... well, guess that plan's been shot.]

Both of 'em?

Yeah, but I memorized it so if you show me yours I can tell if there's more different than just the titles.

[She'll go and grab the one addressed to 'Glister' and hand it over to him. Honestly, she's not expecting much, but she might as well.]

[He snickers at the dumb title. Quite fitting for that idiot.]

Yeah. It's the same words. Hadn't seen it before coming here, yet somehow could read it. Can't see any differences in the wording of the rules, only difference is the titles.

[Okay, well, she'll just grab her own letter and show him that, too.]

So was the writing more like that one or this one?

Like that one. [He lazily points to her letter.]

[Success?? At least she has confirmation from one other person... investigating stuff is hard.]

You can go back to staring at people, I guess.

[Nah, dealing with a lazy Enforcer is hard.]

I just want to know who was bleeding all over the place. Don't care one bit about the rest of you otherwise.

[Bleeding all over the place?? Like the blood from the statue? ...Maybe he overheard someone somewhere.]

Think it'd be pretty obvious here, though. Seemed more like it came from a head wound and all. [Or at least that's what the hair seems to have indicated, anyways.]

[Or maybe he was also intruded upon, but not like he's admitting to that or showing what he found yet.]

Yet no one has signs of injury of any sort.

[She is not Immediately Suspicious because detective work was mostly left to the others like Rean, but she's getting a weird feeling. After all, she would think that someone like McBurn would easily realize that much and yet... he was still taking the time to observe everyone that closely.]

Might not be one of us, though. Unless the cloaked guy is hiding it under the hood.

[Not that she necessarily thinks the Intercessor got beaned in the head, but if they're only considering that...]
