THE THIRD INVESTIGATION

[As Friday dawns, all seems peaceful. No screaming. No electricity. Nothing in the bathrooms. All is quiet. However, it is a Friday, so there's no guarantee anymore that someone hasn't taken up Marie's offer. Even if they haven't, it's clear time is running out for a guaranteed means of escape. At least, if what Marie claims is true.

It's probably a good idea to look around and check up on people and places before going about one's normal day, regardless. Better safe than sorry, right?]

Which begs the question of where those who messed up the lab are, but...]

[Something bad obviously happened, so maybe...it's on another floor again?

Mecha repair room. Maybe it has some clue as to what happened?]

[Well, unfortunately, Barb is going to find straight away a big clue - namely, two prone figures, slumped in a corner near the the mecha docking equipment...]

Okay, she's terrified, but she's gonna...try to figure out who they are from here. Can she tell who the closest one is?

[strangerpeople]

[The closest one is very easy to tell, as their glassy eyes are staring right at Barbara. But it's not the eyes that clue Barbara in to the identity of this person.

There's no mistaking the mustache, after all. It's Passepartout.]

[She doesn't care if he's dead or bloody as Hell, she's gonna try to shake him awake. Any luck? Also, can she tell who the other person is now?]

[Unfortunately, no. Whatever Barbara tries, he's not responding, and he's clearly cold.

Jean Passapartout, the Kragle, is dead.]

[She's going to slowly let Pass down, and scoot closer to the other body. Is...is it Jonathan? And...is he really dead?]

[How are his vitals. Has he been drugged? Is he injured?]

[His vitals seem to be all right. As for injuries or being drugged, well.

Nagisa's check-up is about to be interrupted by some tell-tale pings approaching the area.]

[Is that Bottson, hi Bottson, we are more concerned with making sure Jonathan isn't dying.]

[All Jonathan knows is that he hurts, and not in the way he had earlier this week. His head aches. And he's not sure where he is. He feels sick, and can't quite seem to get his eyes to focus - again, not like earlier this week, this is something else.

Blue hair, though - that's someone he knows, maybe.]

[Nagisa's voice is steady, but very intense.]

Jonathan. Do you feel alright?

[Injuries, odd sensations, anything.... Nagisa has been drugged before. He should be able to recognize it, right?]

[Interrupting grief for beeps!

Barbara is going to look around for a second. Can she tell where it's coming from?]

[Its actually coming from the other side of the room. And after the pings, a song starts to play.

And with that, Bottson appears, wearing a leather jacket, over-sized aviator glasses, and a white and red kerchief around its neck.]
