LET THE GAME BEGIN
(SYD -> HNL)
[Well, good going, Yurick and Vita. You dun fucked up. Now it's a murdergame. Still, could be worse. It could be a certain screechy female commander in charge, right?
In any case, you are stuck here. It's frustrating, and as time goes by, being here is going to wear everyone down. Not to mention the scent of those damn leis just won't go away, even after you've tossed them aside. The air permeates with it, and combine that with recycled air that only makes things more irritating and pungent, the limited supply of essentials, the limited space even on this large plane, the horrible electricity situation, *and* the threat of the murdergame now ever-present over everyone's heads?
Things are not fun right now. And as time goes by, it's going to only get worse. It's just a question of how - and whether there's any escape before it becomes too much to bear.]
((OOC: Welcome to the week! We'll be doing things a little differently here - we will have a sub-heading for investigations to happen, where players can send their characters of to find clues. Just head over there and use the OoC map to help guide your characters to major clues if you so wish!
Of course, you can always court disaster for your character, courtesy of the RNG, if you so wish! As a result, there will also be a sub-heading revealing everyone's level of injury, which will start at a default number for everyone (except those already injured coming in, or injuries inflicted before the pilot's call!) at the beginning of the week! This can be raised as you see fit to inflict pain on your character - just remember to TAG ANY COMMENT THREAD FOR THE MODS if you want injury rolls! Just don't go too high - your character may not survive if you do!
GOOD LUCK! And remember - have a nice flight!))

[Having accumulated a certain amount of candy and cookies in the relatively large amount of floor space (for an airplane) behind the bar, Beatrice begins carefully drizzling out the remainder of her bottle of booze in a circle around the "offerings", then makes several lines across it, alcohol drizzle forming the rough shape of a pentagram on the floor. Normally she'd use paint and like...a ruler at least for drawing a magic circle, but she knows she can't delay attempting this.]
There we are. Not my best work, but it should suffice for this thin layer of magic...
[She turns to anyone who may have had their attention drawn by her bizarre behavior.]
Ahaha...want to see something cooooool?

[She straightens up and waves dismissively at the geometric mess she's made on the floor.]
This isn't the cool thing. It's just the stage, so to speak.

You probably want to stand back just a bit, Hiyori.
[She takes a deep breath, and switches from merely talking loudly to actually declaiming.]
By the power of the Endless Witch, I call upon you!
Come, take a form in this world!
Come, try to remember!
What form did you have?

Ahahahaha! You're not my usual style, but you're adorable in your own right, aren't you? Welcome to what passes for the mortal plane.
[Ahaha, mortal plane.]
May I call you Vinea? I have need of a demon to find a witch, even though there's already two of us here. Overthrowing a wall would be nice as well.
[The impish figure thinks for a second and nods, giving Beatrice a salute before returning to the sugary snacks she's offered it.]
Excellent.

And then he's taking several steps back.]
—adorable...?
[Beatrice's aesthetic sense isn't exactly what repulses him. Hiyori is well versed in the ways of hipsters who stan rats and snakes. They're great for trolling people. What stuns him is the ease with which the "demon" appeared. All the laws of physics he used to know feel crushed into dust. Even in the most conservative interpretation where a trapdoor was used, Hiyori has to question his desperate assumptions about the integrity of the plane.
He pulls himself back up to almost full height with a weak attempt at a brave face by jauntily bracing his forearm on a barstool.]
You really, really like all types of drinks, huh?
[The "wine" in Vinea's name. That is the one verbal hook he's able to latch onto with nervous laughter.]

[Vinea continues to eat, ripping open a bag of trail mix.]
Also, this guy was willing to respond to an impromptu summoning with none of my usual accoutrements. Even if he's not up for all of that, sometimes you just go to war with the demons you have.

So you make your own luck even though you're a witch! I have to tip my hat to you for that. We need all the help we can get.
[It's perhaps not the most unmitigated flattery. He just hates the idea of witchcraft that much. He also hates, like, violence, though, and obviously this situation is getting too complicated to resolve without at least some of that.]
