[There's no doubt that those who wake up will vaguely remember a dream.

In that dream, at least for most people, there are two figures, informing them each that they had a Title. With that title came a power. More than that, they were being given rooms, as if they were meant to stay in the dark and gloomy place where their dreams placed them. The Strangers might have found this to be a ridiculous proposition. Unless they have been through this before, then were probably not surprised in the least.

All of this, of course, ended with a sense of inexplicable dread for everyone. Especially when they woke up to find themselves in long, thin, cramped rooms, with only candlelight to give them any illumination.

Yes. Unfortunately, that dream had not been a dream at all, much as you might have hoped. You are here, now, inside an old, decrepit house where you have been given what appears to be a permanent residency. While you apparently have a power to aid you, it's no comfort. You have no option to leave, you have no way to escape, and the rules hammered to your door doesn't help the creeping sense of doom pooling in your stomach.

The ability to make plants grow faster, and control their growth to some degree. [He waves his hand over the garden plants, which do nothing in response.] As you can see...that's not the case here. I can't even sense anything from them.

You can do that? [Her eyes are gleaming a little. Intriguing! Such skill is unprecedented on most of the races she knows, yet this man here, he can do that? He doesn't seem very attuned to the forest like the now-gone Kokiris or the Koroks] How? Is this skill innate to you, or did you learn it?

I would say a combination of both, I suppose. I gained it after bonding with Hydrangea-they're a creature with similar abilities. But I didn't require much training to actually make use of it.

How interesting! [She wishes she could see it herself] ...how do you think they suppressed your power?

[She has an idea how hers may be supressed, but she's not sure it could apply to other people's powers as well]

I'm not completely sure. Though it comes from my connection to Hydrangea, so they might have blocked that in some way.

So if you were to be in contact with this Hydrangea, you would get your power back? [Sounds like a plan of action] What does it look like? I will help look for it.

With luck, yes. Though it's usually an ability that should work even if we're separated. [He uses his finger to quickly sketch out the shape of a Shaymin in the ground.] They look like this, and they're quite small in comparison to myself.

If they're small they may have found a way out of this place. Their size would be quite useful when it's about escaping a place we don't know.

Perhaps. They can actually transform into an alternate form, though only in the daytime. [He quickly sketches out the Sky form.] And they can fly in this form, so it's possible they could have left that way. Though I hope they would have come looking for me first, to let me know they were leaving to find help. [He is their dad, after all.]
