[Well, it seems that you are all here now. Stuck, with a power, and with two individuals who are...very different from one another, inside an old, decrepit home. There's not much to do now than to stew, look for food, and figure out what the hell you're going to do to pass the time - if not get out of this place entirely.

There has to be a way, right? And what the heck happened to the fifteenth name on the list that was handed out? Is there someone else here? If so, who are they? Do they even exist?

So many questions to answer-and, it seems, more than enough time to try to figure them out, hopefully.

[Oh boy. What exactly is it?]

[It's a note. It doesn't have much, save for a single set of letters:

"F, E, E, F, G".]

[Hm. So what happens if he goes down to the music room (waiting for it to be empty) before playing that series of musical notes?]

[Depends.

What instrument will he be playing?]

[He'll try the harp first, of course.]

[F, E, E, F, G...

A strange noise, like stone on stones, begins to fill the room.]

[What direction is it coming from? He'll head towards there to investigate.]

[From one of the further walls, which...has opened up to reveal a passage.

[He'll stick his head in first. There is light inside, right?]

[strangerpeople]

[No. Unfortunately it is very Dark.]

[silvertongueheir]

[Hm. He glances around, before stepping in and heading up, following the wall.] Might as well see what's changed...

[strangerpeople]

[Franciscus might want to be careful, either way, lest he bump into the giant thing. That is suddenly in his way.]

[Oh. Does it feel like it's alive? He tenses, ready to back away if it springs at him.]

[strangerpeople]

[It feels wooden. It’s not alive. Just....big. And waist height.]

[Okayyyy...can he drag it back out?]

[strangerpeople]

[It feels incredibly heavy, so probably not. Sorry, Franciscus.]

[Sigh. Is it blocking the whole stairway? Can he get an idea of what it is by feeling around?]

[strangerpeople]

[Most of it. It's a tight squeeze, but it's doable.

He can. If he feels around enough he will feel cold ivory on the other side. It's shaped like a set of piano keys.]

[...why did someone shove a piano into the secret stairway. He'll play a few notes before he tries to continue upwards. Does it sound out of tune or anything like that?]

[Nope. If anything, it sounds like an incredibly expensive piano, perfectly-tuned.

He might feel some papers as he brushes past, on what is ostensibly the piano's sheet stand.]

[Oh, that's new. He'll bring those papers out to properly inspect them, then.]

[One of them has sheet music.

The other has...well.]

[Depends on how good Franciscus is at playing literally one of the hardest piano compositions ever devised.

Seriously. This is a piece for a badass pro. Are you badass enough Frans??!!]
