WEEK 1
[Well, it seems that you are all here now. Stuck, with a power, and with two individuals who are...very different from one another, inside an old, decrepit home. There's not much to do now than to stew, look for food, and figure out what the hell you're going to do to pass the time - if not get out of this place entirely.
There has to be a way, right? And what the heck happened to the fifteenth name on the list that was handed out? Is there someone else here? If so, who are they? Do they even exist?
So many questions to answer-and, it seems, more than enough time to try to figure them out, hopefully.
There are 15 (?) strangers in this place.]

Wow, that’s really impressive. Did they sound good?
[Cause that’s always important for a concert!]
no subject
Well... I'd like to think so! We did win the voting for the best display at the school festival, so... I'd like to think all that work paid off.
[And believe Emma, it was work. Elliot may be nice, but once he gets serious...]
no subject
Well, that’s what’s important. Plus, if it’s a regular contest, I’m sure you’d be able to win next year with enough practice!
[Practice makes perfect and all that!]
no subject
Still, it was a fun experience, even if practice was more like boot camp than the actual classes at our military academy...
[Aha... ha...]
no subject
Really? I wouldn’t be surprised for more rowdy students, but you seem very well mannered. Why would he be strict with you?
[Like, you’re really nice? Someone would probably just have to use the word please to get you to do something? Why be strict with you]
no subject
Well... Elliot is... how do I put this. Music matters more to him than just about anything... so if we weren't up to his standards, he'd have us do everything from the top.
I never knew someone could be so terrifying and smile so sweetly at the same time...
[Is this nostalgia, or terror?]
no subject
[She knows how those kind of people tend to be, given her lifestyle. She’s kind of surprised such a man would be willing to music, let alone in general.]
Yes, people like that tend to be handful when they don’t get their way. It’s good to hear he was one of the more civil ones.
no subject
Heehee. Trauma aside, though, it was one of the most fun times we had at the academy, if I'm honest. I... still think they should have chosen someone different to be the lead singer for our second song... but otherwise, I don't regret it one bit.
no subject
[Even better when you win, but whatever I guess]
I can’t imagine they were a bad singer, considering what you’ve told me about your teacher so far. Were they just that annoying?
no subject
Well. They chose me, is why...
[RIP]
no subject
I-I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to imply anything! I-I just meant that, it sounded more like you were among the orchestra-at least that's what I interpreted it as-and usually when people talk about being chosen for something they don't like they just admit it straight away and-
[And she feels like she's just digging herself into a hole, so she's just going to stop for a second before continuing.]
What I mean to say is...I am sorry...
no subject
[She just sighs, brushing some of her hair behind her ear nervously.]
I understand why you would think that! And... in their defense, it was probably the right choice? I don't have any particular talent with instruments, myself, and trying to get the two classmates of ours that took the lead on our first song through another would have probably lead to a bloodbath.
I just get so nervous being the center of attention like that...
no subject
She does seem better when she says it’s alright.]
I appreciate it, Emma. I just...really thought it was someone else you were talking about.
Oh, that’s understandable. Not everyone is meant to be under the spotlight.
[Even the best singer would be terrible if they had a bad case of stage fright, after all.]
no subject
I understand, really! There's no need to apologize.
[Damn it, Emma, can you have a mean bone in your body for like 5 seconds? This is the one person who deserves it? smdh.]
Everyone said I did well, but... mmm, not meant for the spotlight, indeed. My sister was always meant for that kind of attention, but me? There's no way my voice can even hope to approach hers. [Sigh!]
no subject
[And any bad feelings Felicity has are gone. You blew it Emma!]
Well, at least it's over and done with now, from what you've said about it. Maybe your sister will have a better time with it...if she's younger than you.
[She's think it's a younger sister, but she could be wrong.]
no subject
Ahaha... unfortunately, no. My sister's a good couple years my senior.
She was an opera singer for a time, as well as a radio host.
[So yeah, Vita's doing JUST FINE.]
no subject
[Assuming they both went to the same school, at least.]
Oh, so she even got to live the dream at point. That's wonderful. I'm sure you must be proud.
no subject
Yes, very much so.
