[The new week comes.

Those who have eaten the offered food from the Stewards will find themselves much more refreshed and energetic. They will also find their need for food is practically nonexistent for the rest of the week. However, that may not be the only side effect of their sustenance they might find-nor will all of the side effects be pleasant.

There are no new floors to explore, though there is a bouncy castle in the arena now. (Thanks, Harriet.) There is also the possibility that there may be more to find on these floors-or maybe they are just going on a wild goose chase. Or maybe there is something to find, though those who look for answers may not like what they find.

And what of the number of Strangers left? The Stewards have already allowed a murderer to get away with their crime scot free, and no one else has uncovered the culprit. Who knows what else the Stewards might have up their sleeves?

[He coughs, and some more blood blooms across the bandages. He struggles to keep his eyes open, but he can't manage it. There's something soft by his head and his body feels warm.]

... Blood loss... ?

[Emma doesn't even raise her head.]

No one is dying today. All right? Just relax and listen to Ms. Krone, please.

[Her voice is clipped as she focuses on cutting the bandages, making quick work of them. Once she's done, she looks up at Krone.]

Do you need anything else here, or will you three be able to take care of him for a moment?

[...Emma, honey. What are you planning.]

[The word "contract" gets Krone to grit her teeth harshly - but it doesn't matter. She makes a very tiny hand gesture at Emma.] Just, here.

[As in, put the bandages here where Krone can more easily reach them.]

Thank you, truly, for even this much, it means a lot...

[Emma's quick to do as requested.]

[With that, she's pushing herself back to her feet and heading off to the other source of commotion in here.]

[where is... she going? Osomatsu watches her head off back towards the servants' quarters and he gulps. he doesn't want her to get hurt, too!

for now, he'll stay put, but he'll be keeping his ears open]

[Krone finds herself watching Emma walk off at first... but then she sees Osomatsu also peering, so she turns back down to look right at Jun's wound.]

It's good that you're still here, Mr. Matsuno. Don't worry about being asked to do anything too complicated, but if you can let me know about any other developments~? It's appreciated.

[Osomatsu sits up when she addresses him]

Y-yeah. Whatever you need.

[he starts to get to his feet. he'll wait nearby, but also will watch around the corner to see what Emma is doing, if she is all right]

[Franciscus has been watching this, allowing them to apply pressure for now. However, with how the bandages are still soaking through...]

Do you think we should try and cauterize it somehow? [He's been practicing, but this is different from trying to heat water or the like.]

Yeah, like you won't just make me burst into flame.

No!!!!! ["Are you crazy?" She just channels her frustration into applying even more pressure rather than bothering to so much as look up.] He's been torn up in so many spots, and as a small boy you'd be getting quite a bit of the skin he has. Besides, this isn't even an artery! I'm pretty sure bleeding to death is off the table at this point!

[Look, he's from a world where medical care is way faster and easier, originally. But he'll defer to these two. However...]

What is going on in there? [It sounds like Bang still isn't down yet...how???]

That's Eric's problem! At least, it was before he went down! I would love to help him but I only have two hands! [She clicks her tongue.] Miss Millstein went off trying to help, if you have any faith in her or your ability to help her!

[Yeah, seeing how they've got this handled, he's going to hurry over in that direction.] I'll leave the medical treatment to your group, then.

[Osomatsu's been watching for a while. he looks very apprehensive at the idea of Franciscus joining the fray, but doesn't stop him. for now.

after things seem to cool down, and the noises die, he returns to Jun and Krone, letting out a deep sigh]

I think... it's settling down over there. They've all stopped fighting.

Just how many of them were in there?

[Enough time has passed that Krone now feels comfortable—] Alright, Jun? [—removing the direct pressure and beginning to wrap the bandages around the mutilated party member's chest. She wishes she had a stopwatch, but she might as well remove the pressure in a controlled way instead of just getting tired sooner or later all of a sudden.]

[He looks up, having gone quiet. He's been listening to all of this, but there's not much he can do. He blinks slowly and takes a deeper breath as she wraps bandages around him.]

Maybe get me to my room...

[joinhands]

[Krone heaves a sigh.] I can carry you well enough if it comes to that, but I'd need at least a moment to get things tidied up beforehand if that's alright...

[icanhearscreams]

That's fine, I'd just kind of like to stop lying here in my blood. I'll have to clean this up later...

[joinhands]

I, singular? There's...

[Fifteen of us except Eddie is dead.

And Dupree perhaps cannot be counted on.
