[It's Friday once more. As the third week begins to near it's end, the tensions-and nightmares-among everyone is on the rise. It doesn't help that this is Friday-and Friday is shaping up to be a bad day of the week.

The question is whether this Friday will be any different from the last. Perhaps this Friday will be different. After all, the morning is over, and nothing happened yet!

But then, isn't that strange too? Maybe it would be better to look around. Just in case.]

[so. that's why Osomatsu could not find Franciscus this afternoon.

not hearing who was murdered from the Stewards is a little worrying. Osomatsu feels nervous deep in his gut. he was going to stay out of the investigation today because of the week prior. but now...

he quickly moves to the garden, nervous. he needs to be careful. he needs to pay attention to the clues. what does he first notice when he arrives?]

[He will notice that the water bucket is out of the well, for starters.]

[but why? he goes to look closer, examining the bucket. is it dry? is something inside?]

[There is water in it that's clearly bloodied.]

[o-okay... that's gross. but it could be worse.

might as well look around the bucket, too, scanning the area for any more signs of disturbances. what about the grass? the flower bed? is anything else upset? anything else there that shouldn't be there?]

[There is something sticking up from a nearby flower bed.]

[sticking up? Osomatsu steps closer, peering into the flower bed. what is that?]

[It's a poleaxe, stuck in the ground.]

[ah. okay.

is it bloody?]

[It is. There is some blood on there.]

[Osomatsu's not going to touch it right now, but he may bring it back with him to the trial. what else is there in the garden...? ah, the well! might as well check there, too. it may be too dark to see anything, but whatever.

anything in the well other than water?]

[Nope! In fact, it looks like Oso has found everything in the garden.]

[a sigh escapes through his nose. he double and triple checks his evidence so that he can submit it properly, without any mistakes this time. then he'll grab the poleaxe for the trial and go see if his suspicions are confirmed...
