THE SECOND INVESTIGATION
[It's Friday once more. As the third week begins to near it's end, the tensions-and nightmares-among everyone is on the rise. It doesn't help that this is Friday-and Friday is shaping up to be a bad day of the week.
The question is whether this Friday will be any different from the last. Perhaps this Friday will be different. After all, the morning is over, and nothing happened yet!
But then, isn't that strange too? Maybe it would be better to look around. Just in case.]
VISION FROM THE PAST
And now, now in this absolute darkness, you feel the death blow scissor up from below, and plunge right into your chest.
You try to breath, but you can't. Not when the one in front of you has ended your life; you can somehow see them staring at you with hatred even in the darkness. Because you know, as you fall down. Just from the wound you have just taken, from the sudden pain, the warmth you feel in your chest, you know.]
Ah...
[This will be fatal. This will kill you. Perhaps even now it's only appropriate that it's at their hands. After all, who are you to argue? You feel your life start to drain from you, and your lips move for the last time.]
Please...all I ask....tell-
[Then, with a gasp, suddenly Arthur is back from the brink of someone's death, having witnessed those moments. Catch your breath, Approach. We know it's a bit much.]
no subject
It's not as though Arthur has never been stabbed before. He's gotten hit with just about everything the Labyrinth has to offer, at some point or another. But it's never been this deep, never been this spot - it's never been fatal. Never been anything Simon couldn't fix.
But there's no Simon here, and he can feel blood flowing quickly. Feel it in his lungs.]
Who....is she....?
[Yeah, he's on his knees again. Semi-voluntarily, at least, this much gets easier.]
