WEEK 2
[As one week changes to the next, the Titled will find themselves having vivid dreams. Very vivid. Perhaps too real to only be dreams. Lost memories? Could it be, then, that those who brought you here did something to your minds along with your bodies?
Whatever the case, everyone, no matter how deep their sleep, are awoken to the sound of creaking, groaning metal coming from the first floor. When they do go to investigate, they will find something surprising.
The set of the doors on the right have opened.
Even the Intercessor seems stunned. It has been an odd weekend for everyone. After all, in between finding items seemingly popping out of mid air, and a bloodied statue that belongs to seemingly no one, its all very...strange.
Somehow, one gets the feeling that those strange items won't be the last they see. Indeed, after the doors open, there's the worrying, foreboding feeling coming back once more. And if those feelings are connected to the strange occurrence on Saturday...it can only mean one thing.
There's really only one way to find out if that's the case. The powers that brought you here certainly aren't going to give anyone a straight answer.
So, Titled: welcome to Week 2.
There are fifteen strangers in this place.]
((OoC: Welcome to Week 2! Remember to do your memory regains and your activity check!))

There is one single seam with something just sticking out of it.]
no subject
Time to try and pry at that seam, then? Does whatever's sticking out look like paper or something thicker?]
no subject

Although there's an important question here: is the tree close enough to jump to without killing herself or is she gonna have to have the Intercessor catch her?]

The moment she unrolls it, it's clear it's a scroll of some kind. She can just barely see lines, and a circle, and...
And that's all she is able to see before she suddenly feels piercing, stinging pain in her eyes. It's like being exposed to an allergen Fie never knew existed. What kind? Who knows? It's...it's inexplicable.
Like the paper's punishing her, for some reason. Or perhaps...it's not ready. Or she isn't ready.
No matter.
Her vision will blur, then lighten, before becoming entirely dark.
--
The Schemer has been temporarily blinded due to this, her first attempt to read the scroll. Her vision will return in several moments.]

But wow okay, Mistakes Were Made, all the regrets, etc. At least curiosity didn't kill the cat this time, although it sure feels like someone tear gassed her or something. Shit.
She'll rub at her eyes a little and when her vision comes back, Fie will be off to the stream to rinse out her eyes, just in case. She will give a Look at the scroll.]
Well, that sucked.
[...
...
Welp time to blind the Intercessor!]
no subject
[They have been concerned. Clearly something happened. They didn't see it, but...
They look at the item in Fie's hands.]
What is that?
no subject
Just what was going on? It looked like something he wanted to know the answer to. Quiet as ever, he then walked up so he was standing somewhat closer to Fie with his hands in his pockets and a rapt look of curiosity written all over his face. ]
I'd like to know the answer to that, too.
no subject
I found this thing in the hole in the roof. I tried to read it, but...
[Shrugs. Who wants to try!?]
no subject
[...the hell]
Let me see if I can read what it says.
no subject
[ He was a bit hesitant to want to read it when he'd kinda seen what happened to Fie when she'd acted a bit weird after opening it briefly. So he was quite relieved when the Intercessor spoke up first about seeing if he could read it, nodding in just mute agreement of this. ]
Let us know if it actually says anything, okay?
no subject
'Kay. Here you go.
[Just going to lightly toss it over!]
no subject
[They open it up, and...]

The next thing the Intercessor knows, they, too, see the same thing Fie saw - and are immediately struck with the same stinging sensation, followed by inevitable darkness. It's unfortunate.
You would think they would at least know better when it comes to these things, but it looks like they forgot that, too, didn't they?
--
The Intercessor has been temporarily blinded due to this, their fifteenth attempt to read the scrolls. Their vision will return on Tuesday morning.]
no subject
If anything, his gaze is on the Intercessor. ]
Heeeeeeey! What did you see on it? Couldn't have been nothing...
no subject
Maybe it's too illuminating for them.
[ba dump tsh okay, enough of that.]
I think they're just blind, though.
[No big deal, right??]
no subject
[They stagger back, dropping the scroll.]
Wh-why didn't you warn me!?
no subject
I think she just wanted to see if it affected you like it did with her, probably.
[ He looked over to Fie as an idea hit him. ]
After we get this guy back to the study, wanna see if we can get everyone else to try and read it too?
no subject
Yup. That and I wasn't sure if it'd affect you the same anyways, 'cause you're different from us.
[She says it with an even tone, but her expression says it all, really. Still, it is a little worrying that they seemed to still be reeling from the effects...]
You okay?
[She'll turn to Killua when he makes the suggestion of blinding even more people. You know what. She's one for one already, why the hell not.]
Sure. Hafta check if it affects everyone the same, after all.
no subject
[They trusted you Fie why]
no subject
But this is highly unexpected!]
That's weird. It didn't last more than a minute for me.
