WEEK 4

[To say that the mood of the remaining Strangers is...low...is an understatement. The revelations about Eric, and the death of the innocent Zelda, no doubt weighs on everyone's minds, now. It's a terrible blow, and deep down, those who are left probably know it.

That won't be the only thing come morning, however. When everyone wakes up, they will find that their memories have changed once more, as have the rules. More than that, a new floor has opened up-and something is wrong.

Of course something is wrong. Everything is wrong. Everything and everyone is wrong. Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong. What can you do? Is there anything that can be done? And-will vengeance be taken for Zelda? Eric is now a free kill, after all. Then again, what's to stop Eric from killing again? He's no longer bound to the rules of the murder, after all...

Is there any hope left? Or is it only a matter of time before everyone well and truly snaps?

[There is a strange skittering noise around the bedrooms.]

[Okay, so let's go follow it. Hopefully it's not the spiders gathering en masse.]

[Well, just as he does that, he hears a loud BANG coming from Room 3. Then, a shout.

Then, words.]

yOu woN't HurT mE...I wIll nOT lEt yOu...aHaaaAAHH!

[And then, Thanatos is blasted right the hell back by a massive concussive light. It also causes every bedroom door to fly off their hinges.

It also causes the top half of the inhabitant of Room 3 from the waist up to fly overhead, eyes still wide with indignation. If there was any terror, it's gone, as is the light of her eyes, as the remains fly into the arena, to land near a dummy.

There's...really no doubt here.

Bangladesh Dupree, The Scratch, is dead.

And yet Thanatos still finds himself falling, falling into a void, where he sees spikes on the bottom...]

[Well, shit. That definitely wasn't what he was expecting. People nearby will also him scream out in shock from the sudden blast and light.

But the more immediate issue is dealing with the fact that he seems to have fallen into a trap. About the only thing he can do is use that power of his to see if there is anything he can grab onto. If needed, he can quickly pull out the whip and use it as a rope, he just needs to find something to grab onto. Won't be the first time he's had to do that. Hopefully it won't be the last.]

[Jun comes out of his room, breathing hard at the sudden sound and light. He looks down and spots Thanatos. Reaching out with his ability he flings the man back up in an arc out from the void.]

[He then turns towards the remains of Bang, stalking into the arena. He winds up and kicks the remains of her body in the face, hard. He then turns away and flings her with her power as hard as he can into the wall of the arena, before spitting on the ground and walking away.]

[There is nothing. No foothold. No ropes. Nothing. His whip refuses to catch to anything. and before he knows it-

He SLAMS into the spikes. His whole body jams onto them, and soon, the spikes stick into him, popping out from his body until they rip through his front, popping out of his shirt, his limbs, his neck, his forehead.

Blood begins to fill his lungs, and he may scream, but soon he will be unable to, for the blood is starting to dribble from his mouth, onto the floor, until he soon will drown in blood as well as die from this terrible, terrible trap.




Everyone else will simply see Thanatos writhing and screaming on the floor, eyes wide with terror, as he struggles with a death only he can imagine.]

[Um. Well.

SpLAT.

Thanks, Jun. You made an actual...Bangcake.

Haaaaaaa. Haaaaaa?]

[Add it to the heap.]

[As he does this, he will see something skittering off into one of the walls of the arena.]

[He watches it and moves forward, trying to take a little bit of a closer look.]

[strangerpeople]

[The....whatever it is, suddenly turns, and for a split second, Jun can swear he sees three eyes beneath black bangs staring at him, staring into him. through him.

Then it changes, and the figure snarls, teeth upon teeth almost overtaking her face.]

LEaVe mE aLOnE!

[Well, that definitely was not good. Truly, who would put a trap of that sort of caliber in the middle of a mansion? He knew very well one day his luck would run out. He'd make some crack about how Lady Luck must have left him for a younger man, but just can't seem to form the words right now.

But then he realizes something is not right. With that he realizes that he wasn't actually seeing a trap that tried to kill him. He can breathe just fine and he's not bleeding out after all. Though flying out of that room and landing on the floor is definitely going to leave him rather sore, but he'll go ahead and try to get up. He might be an old man, but he's not going to break that easily.]

[it's not like Osomatsu was getting any sleep that night anyway. the light, the crashing noises, everything causes him to jerk himself out of bed and look out of his room.

there he sees Thanatos on the floor. he must be having a nightmare of some sort? Osomatsu wonders if he should even approach. it's not like they know each other very well. but he rushes over to him at last, once he starts to get up]

Hey, you okay?

[maybe? he'll check him over, too, seeing if he sees any damage]

[He shifts back, before moving forward again. One step, and then another.]

I left you alone before. And that... that was wrong. And I shouldn't have... I...

[strangerpeople]

iHatEyOu!!!

[One final, angry scream, before she dashes into the wall-and is gone.

Jun is alone. Always alone, always will be...

Whatever that was, Jun has not gone unscathed from the encounter.

Jun's Nightmares are now at Level 8.]

[And now that is really embarrassing, but at the same time Thanatos at least is the sort who can see the humor in this whole mess.

He does look fine, maybe a bit dirty from ending up on the floor like that but definitely in a lot better shape than one would expect from a man his age ending up taking that sort of spill.]

It's nothing that I won't recover from. Can't say the same for our little attempted murderer.

[He just slumps to the floor, staring at his hands. They're red. They're always going to be red.]

[Too much blood. Not enough, yet.]

[But still too much.]

[Osomatsu really respects Thanatos. he's like a cool grandpa, so he's glad that he's all right]
