[Well, Champions, it certainly does look like you're trapped here.

There's limited food and limited supplies... and while there's a limited number of you, there's certainly too many of you for what you've got on hand. Never mind the whole deal that you've been kidnapped and shoved into someone else's house. Like, who even does that?

And all to "send a message," besides. Whatever that even means.

Regardless, things aren't going to change by just sitting and moping around. You're here until your captor decides he's done with you, so while there's no guarantee that acting won't just make things worse, it's got to be at least a little better than this.

That would only prove that we're just as low as he is, and I am not stooping to his level. Anyway, working together basically means trying to find a way out of here and back to our previous worlds.

So thou wish for this sort of thing to continue?

But you don't have to kill someone to stop things from happening? Why is that like, the first option, for crying out loud.

It tends to be quite permanent for the Fading Ones.

First, I have no idea what 'Fading Ones' are.

Second, we can't be for certain that someone else might run another one of these. We don't know if this person is working solo or with a group. We don't want to make any assumptions.

And third, once again-- we are not killing anybody because I like to prove a point that we are better than our captors and can stop things without resorting to murder.

[ Nodding along to the first and second point, Johan interjects after the third because while he does agree—]

It's not about winning, not in a situation like this. It's about doing the right thing, which is more important than how many battles you win or lose.

[He just stares at them like they're stupid. His jaw clenches and he really wants to start lecturing them, but... ugh. Johan sounds so much like Ryu it's ridiculous. He takes a deep breath.]

That doesn't mean we shouldn't try. But we should take every outcome into account too.

That's why we make it so he can't.

Well, I can tell you from experience that not killing them actually works out for the better than for the worst.

That's being careless and not precautionary. If you're going to stop someone and not kill them, you have to take care of all angles.

[ Otherwise it's not going to work. ]

So what are you planning?

[Completely neutral, but murder seems like the easiest option to her.]

Nothing yet-- I can't come up with a proper plan without more information. Doing that is careless and we might run into more issues than solutions.

That's why my first matter of business is information gathering. Then we can come up with something more concrete.

So we'll keep that as our backup plan.

We should keep murder as the last! Possible! Option!

That requires us to have a first option.

Which should be to learn more and analyze the situation to come up with something rather than straight out go right into stabbing.

Whichever solves the problem when we get to that point...
