YOU MAY BE A LOVER BUT YOU AIN'T NO DANCER
[Well, Champions, it certainly does look like you're trapped here.
There's limited food and limited supplies... and while there's a limited number of you, there's certainly too many of you for what you've got on hand. Never mind the whole deal that you've been kidnapped and shoved into someone else's house. Like, who even does that?
And all to "send a message," besides. Whatever that even means.
Regardless, things aren't going to change by just sitting and moping around. You're here until your captor decides he's done with you, so while there's no guarantee that acting won't just make things worse, it's got to be at least a little better than this.
Right?]
((OOC: Welcome to the week! We've got subheadings and things to organize you lot for investigations and whatnot, so please follow those. If you ever need reference, remember that location maps and such are over here!
If you ever need anything from us mods, don't hesitate to leave us a mod ping in your subject line so we know where to go!
Good luck, Strangers, and don't fuck it up.))

Yawning, she stretches out with a sigh.]
Oh... right.
[Now she remembers why she's here and not in a bed.]
Haaaaa... This is going to be a long couple of days.
[Once she's fixed herself back up and looks raring to go-- she makes a proper round about the house. She takes stock of what's in the kitchen.]
Would have been nice if they'd let me keep my recipe book... we're gonna have to ration things out too. We can't let this situation get any worse than it already is.
[Estelle's cooking is... how do you say... not the best, though. Especially without her recipes.]
...now I'm really worried. No. No I was definitely getting better!

Well, looks like that stupid power thing is listed on there. . . go figure. I wonder if it's supposed to be irony for dating Atsushi.
[ Not that she's ever going to use it.
She never used her ability outside of emergencies when she was back in the SCP world, she isn't going to use it now. Although she's open to people seeing her own profile -- or maybe one of the others, too?
Eventually she gets bored of that and just decides to waste some time doing nothing. She needs some time to relax, after all, and she's doing that by sitting on the couch in the living room and. . .
. . . turning on her phone so she can watch anime on it. Spoilers: she's watching early episodes of Bleach. Hm. ]

But in the meantime she was hanging out in the living room. It's the room with the most space. Her coat and shirt are just being hung over the back of chair then it's time to do a mixture of sit-ups, pullups and maybe the odd round of shadow boxing.
She's going to make use of her time if she has it.]

[This place, however, escapes his knowledge and understanding.]
[He's gotten a little used to the fine fabrics in the place, but he spends some time in the living room attempting to figure out the strange flat rectangle. Is it some sort of magical device? He saw images on it earlier when someone else was using it...]
[Later, he can be found in the downstairs bathroom, examining the strange fixtures. One of them appears to have a lever, so he pushes it - and jerks back at the roaring noise it starts to make. He pulls one of the other ones, and water starts to rush out of another fixture. He pulls out the fire poker he's grabbed and readies it like a sword.]

TUESDAY
MOTIVE: The Nature of Disease
On the screen, Vyce's symbol flashed.]
Activating multiversal relay.
It is time.
Hailing my ship.
[For a moment, there is nothing. Then, the screen becomes static, the static turns green, and a high-pitched squealing noise echoes through the house, accompanied by a rhythmic pulse. It is all hard to listen to for too long, and some-not all-strangers may find themselves seeing red in the corner of their eyes the longer the sound continues.
Then, finally, the noise stops, and a new, static-y image pops up in place of It's...well, it's a silhouette, but it's impossible to discern who it is. Their voice, however, does come through the system.
Whoever it is, it's male, and they sound concerned. Also, they might be wearing a hat. A purdy hat. Not that any of the Strangers can compliment them, since it seems Vyce has made it so they cannot communicate to the person on the other end.
Hm.]
Jaeris?! I got your hail, what's wrong?!
I am not the Gunslinger, Champion.
[Instantly, the tone of the voice of the messaged changes. Anger and shock is all-too evident.]
Vyce...!? What the hell is this!? What have you done with Jaeris!?
He is safe, in induced stasis. For now.
Concern yourself more with the 15 strangers I have managed to acquire.
[At this, all fifteen profiles pop up simultaneously on-screen, for those watching the screens.]
Fifte--no.
[Now, fear.]
You wouldn't-
I have read the data you have sent to your ally regarding your..."murdergame" experience. It was quite enlightening, Champion. And given the data I have collected since then, it appears I have little choice but to engage in similar if the pieces are to be restored.
And now, Champion...the stakes. All fifteen strangers were seeded with a special set of nanites as part of the means of drawing them here. Through them I can monitor all of their movements, their life signs, and their vitals. I can also take control of them should the need arise...and as such I can cause the body to shut down in three minutes with a specific, irreversible command. It will kill anyone who has these nanites in their body. Unfortunately...
[At this, the screen changes. The strangers will recognize friends and loved ones from their worlds on the screen, this time.]
The seeding process is imprecise across multiverses. As a result, these individuals are also infected with my nanites.
As such, Champion, you and these strangers have a choice: either you return to this universe and face the truth at last, or one of these individuals must murder another of their number, whichever happens first. If this is not done by the end of the countdown, I will activate the nanites and kill them all.
But even if this seems shocking to you, Champion, you should be glad I am doing this. It is for the good of all reality. After all...'the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few'.
Isn't that what it says in your favorite-
[There is an absolutely enraged shout at this.]
VYCE! YOU BASTARD! DON'T DO THIS!!
I await your arrival, Champion...and for the Hunt to end at last...
HOW MANY TIMES TO I HAVE TO TELL YOU, YOU TIN-BRAINED IDIOT!? THE ENTITY IS-
[The person on the other side doesn't even get to finish. The feed cuts. In its place is a countdown that starts at 84:00:00. Then it goes to 83:59:59. 58. 57.
The clock is now ticking..]

Not like there's anything on display. He's fully clothed, and he just seems to be examining himself in the mirror. In fact, anyone who gets close enough without getting noticed might even hear him talking to himself.]
...This is probably what she sees wih ICPSS, isn't it? [He pauses, reaching up to play with one of the curly ends of that blonde hair.] So this is what he would have looked like, more or less...
[When he notices another person, though, he'll turn to them with his usual lazy smile.]

POST-MOTIVE MEETING
This sounds like the right time for it.
Which is why she'll attempt to find everyone in person and tell them to meet up in the living room for an important discussion.
Once that's said and done and everyone (or a majority of people, at least) have arrived, she claps her hands together, takes a deep breath and then speaks up, loud and clear. ]
Okay!
Let's get things started properly, here. If you don't know who I am, hi. I'm Inaba. I've been through two of these 'murdergames' before, although it seems to be ones that are kind of different from this one. I'll speak on them later if you have any questions for me personally, but I'll get to the meat of our current situation here.
First: I would like to ask what everyone has found so far. As for myself, a few things.
One: there's a gun locker-- or what seems to be one in the kitchen. The supposed 'guns' are missing, twelve of them, but the shapes seem to be fake. Or at least, they're not guns that I recognize. Behind the gun locker is an elevator which seems to lead to what seems to be a computer of sorts. There's also a button that goes up, but that button doesn't seem to be working. If we have anybody who's good at the technical stuff and we can find something to potentially open up the panel, maybe we can figure out how to go 'up'.
Also in terms of the computer-- the computer has a bunch of green and black colored, unlabeled buttons; I tried pressing them one by one, but obviously I just got an 'access denied' thing there. If anybody wants to attempt to do something with it, I'd appreciate it.
And yesterday, I found this in the bedroom drawer. [ Which she whips out for everyone to see if they'd like to. ] So, yeah. It looks like we're in a world that has 'United States', but I sure as hell don't recognize the exact where. Plus, we have some years, too.
. . . Also, there's wi-fi here. Limited, but it exists, apparently.
[ Honestly, she's more surprised that she found it. Amazing. ]
Anyway, that's all I got for my information. But I do want to discuss the motive proper. I know a lot of people are worried. I'm sure as hell am concerned about my friends, the people I love. But if you think about it clearly: is there any reason to trust his words entirely?
There's no proof that it all isn't a bluff to scare us into taking action. Not to mention that we were given an option that didn't deal with death. There just isn't any physical proof that these 'nanites' exist in the first place. Sure, it might be feasible.
But it isn't as if he demonstrated it, right? If he could 'control one of us' using them, why not put that on display to show entirely, that what he's saying is true? Which is why there's enough room for us to doubt it. Sure, it might be risky, but I want to have some hope.
And more importantly. . . I want us to work together. So, yeah. That's basically my spiel, so I'll leave the room open for discussion and questions between all of us.

MINI-GAME: ComPuTeR wOrLd
There are also several computers that are just begging to be looked at. And the more people poke into the computers-be it the one in the living room, or the console accessible through the kitchen closet-the more resistance they will face from the programs and firewalls Vyce put up to prevent access. People could always just give up and not try to outright hack the systems.
Then again, why wouldn't anyone try? There could be something helpful hidden in these systems if they are successfully accessed...]

That doesn't mean she's doing anything useful. She has however found paint, and is messing around with the airbrush... It's definitely not a masterpiece But considering she'd never even seen a pc before, a blob of colours was an achievement.
Eventually she'll give up and get some food. Thanks Estelle for showing her the cold boxes in the kitchen. Mikasa might not know what most of this stuff is, but she'll look.
And find something she likes, because her voice loses it's normal deadpan when she pulls a block out. This might be the closest she's gotten to sounding cheerful.]
...Is this? It looks strange. How am I supposed to eat it..?
[It's more to herself as she prods at the plastic ice cream tub. She can read what it says(she wasn't going to question that the letters looked strange) but, the only time she had this. It had been given to her on a cone.
Either way, this is hers now.]

THURSDAY
SLEEPOVER MINGLE
He asked Inaba and Yoosung to help with the preparations upstairs, so by late afternoon there's a large blanket and pillow fort set up in the upstairs landing using some extra pillows and blankets that were found, plus the blankets and pillows from the makeshift bunk beds.
So, yeah. Maybe you saw the handwritten fliers that said "SLEEPOVER ON THE SECOND FLOOR". Or maybe you just stumbled upon it upstairs. Either way, everyone is invited to get cozy in the giant blanket fort and chill... If nothing else, it'll make it easier to do a headcount in the morning.]
