There's limited food and limited supplies... and while there's a limited number of you, there's certainly too many of you for what you've got on hand. Never mind the whole deal that you've been kidnapped and shoved into someone else's house. Like, who even does that?

And all to "send a message," besides. Whatever that even means.

Regardless, things aren't going to change by just sitting and moping around. You're here until your captor decides he's done with you, so while there's no guarantee that acting won't just make things worse, it's got to be at least a little better than this.

MINI-GAME: ComPuTeR wOrLd

[The week is halfway through. Twenty-four hours have passed. The countdown continues.

There are also several computers that are just begging to be looked at. And the more people poke into the computers-be it the one in the living room, or the console accessible through the kitchen closet-the more resistance they will face from the programs and firewalls Vyce put up to prevent access. People could always just give up and not try to outright hack the systems.

Then again, why wouldn't anyone try? There could be something helpful hidden in these systems if they are successfully accessed...]

OOC INSTRUCTIONS

This mini-game is going to be a little different than the usual games you see. Unlike other games, this one is assumed to last throughout the week, up until Friday morning, as opposed to simply happening over the course of one afternoon or set time. You, the player, decide if/when your character participates!

Here are the deets:

🖥️ The computer and console each contain two clues, all of them hidden by firewalls.

🖥️ The firewalls of the computer are easier to bypass than that of Vyce's console.

🖥️ Every character who participates gets at least one chance to succeed regardless of their level of skill (as referenced on their application)!

🖥️ For every two levels of tech savviness, characters will get one extra chance, up to 5. Level 9-10 characters will also receive one automatic success, to be used on the firewall of their choice!

🖥️ Outside of automatic successes granted by the mods, all other attempts will be by RNG. However, we won't be using the normal RNG in Discord. Nope-for this round, we're going to be using a special RNG method that everyone will get to watch! Spoiler alert: it might just involve those favorite characters you gave us on your application. Also, this was Ni's idea, so if you hate it, blame her!

🖥️ If all four clues are accessed, the strangers will receive something that might just help them come endgame! However, it's not required that this happen for a good ending overall!

[Well, the console itself is much more similar to the tech in her world than the living room computer, so maybe her 9-10 there will count for something. If it does she'll go for clue 1.]

[ Yeah, she's going to go for the living room computer herself since that might be easier for her to deal with.

She might not be a 9/10 on the scale (she's an 8, she's close!!) but she has a lot of computer experience and honestly she really fucking wishes right now that she had actually learned more hacking before she got here, but hopefully her familiarity with computers will help her a lot on this. ]
