MOCK WEEK

[Awaken.

Fifteen strangers have been gathered to the Depths. When they awaken, they will feel nauseous in their stomachs. No doubt confused. Perhaps, even terrified. And certainly, there is a good reason for it - they are not where they were before. If they had powers back where they came from, they seem to be all gone. And it appears that someone has left...guidelines for them. Who? Its uncertain. So far, there seems to be no one else save for them in this hot and stuffy place. No...'intercessor' to be seen yet, certainly.

There are a few small graces for this group, at least. Their memories are intact. And, perhaps, they will discover the power that their Title brings to them. But these are only small graces.

So welcome.

[Huh... Well, it's not like it's going to keep him up at night or anything, but it's nice to know that she likes talking to dead animals? Or something.

He shakes his head at her question.]

I was just watching. [And he makes no move to go anywhere because how do social cues work.]

Ah. Well, it seems this won't be useful for anything but cooking. [She goes for a knife and pauses.] Are you hungry? Most modern people would be squeamish at this.

What were you trying to do with it?

[Although he won't be bothered if she doesn't decide to answer that. Considering he's pretty much been living off preserved fruits and vegetables for the whole day, a warm meal would actually be really appreciated.]

Huh, sure. [He shrugs at the squeamish part, though.]

I'm kind of used to it, I guess. [Well, in regards to dead things or people, anyways.]

We were told about "abilities," yet Ms. Barisol said she'd lost what she had before. I thought I would test that theory myself.

[She starts to cut into it like she's done this before.]

I see. That may be an asset here. Most people wouldn't know what to do with an archaic setup.

[All this ability talk is seriously flying over his head because the idea of there being a supernatural element really doesn't occur to him and combining that with dead squirrels... well. He'll tilt his head a little, but he seems content(?) enough to leave it alone.]

I don't really know what to do with a lot of this stuff either, but I can manage as long as we're given food and shelter.
