[Awaken.

Fifteen strangers have been gathered to the Depths. When they awaken, they will feel nauseous in their stomachs. No doubt confused. Perhaps, even terrified. And certainly, there is a good reason for it - they are not where they were before. If they had powers back where they came from, they seem to be all gone. And it appears that someone has left...guidelines for them. Who? Its uncertain. So far, there seems to be no one else save for them in this hot and stuffy place. No...'intercessor' to be seen yet, certainly.

There are a few small graces for this group, at least. Their memories are intact. And, perhaps, they will discover the power that their Title brings to them. But these are only small graces.

So welcome.

Whoever is in charge of this shelter. It's certainly nobody I know. No enemies of mine would have the power or inclination for this anymore.

If it's possible. It's no more barbaric than the rules themselves. Still, they must have a great deal of power to have captured us.

Then what about destroying this place?

[He is the best at making Plan Bs. That latter bit reminds him of a detail he found weird, though.]

I don't even remember being captured.

Property damage is considered a punishable offence, so it would need to be done carefully, even if you are certain you can manage it.

It would be easier if I had Barbatos with me, but I'll find something.

Oh? A weapon, then, or something most wouldn't speak lightly about?

[He cants his head slightly.]

Barbatos is Barbatos. It's my mobile suit.

Ah. [Some kind of armour, she guesses.] I was wondering. Things seem to be different where some of us are from, with surprising variation.

[deviloftekkadan]

[He may not be educated, but he can be observant when he wants to be, and that lack of recognition isn't one he's used to. Still, he's not nearly imaginative enough to consider any significant alternatives to why she wouldn't know about them, so he'll let her talk. He's curious, if nothing else.]

What do you mean by different?

Tell me, have you ever heard of the many-worlds theory? Barisol-san is a scientist who studies it; she might elaborate if you ask nicely.

[Shakes his head.]

Never heard of it. I don't think I'd understand even if I asked though. [Still, might as well...]

What's she look like?

Short hair and a lab coat. Though really, getting to know everyone may be a smart idea, even if you don't usually get along with people. Or, really, especially.

Why? Because I might be killed if I don't?

That is important, yes. And also because it's good to know who you're dealing with even if life isn't on the line yet.
