WEEK 1
[So, once Zero has said his peace, everything is quiet as the week dawns. A new Game. Nonary, Decision, Murder. All three. It doesn't matter. Everyone is here to kill or die. The coin has been tossed, the die is cast. The rules are set; the watches are active.
The question now is, why? Why is this happening? Why you? Surely no one is so desperate to kill on this ship, right? Not when the people onboard are so interesting and varied. Perhaps everyone can get along; perhaps there's a way off the ship without bloodshed. Of course, if there is, it might be be best to be prepared for a long stay-there's no doubt Zero won't make it that easy to escape. Then there's the matter that-apparently-people have new powers they did not possess before, while those the strangers once had are gone. Perhaps it's time to test those out and see what they can do
So, let's see what happens this week. Hopefully it will be a peaceful one.
There are currently 19 strangers on this ship.]
2/2 Sushi buffet meet n greet
Beam?
[ She gives it a kick. No life, no extra eyes. Not that it really matters.
So here's Power... eating a shark in the middle of the hall. She's taking bites out of it like it's a corn cob, occasionally stripping up flesh and using her hands. She looks quite content. ]
no subject
You're not gonna keep all of that for yourself, are you?
no subject
Tis MY tribute!
[ And now she is hugging the shark possessively, like some sort of stuffy and not a bloody carcass. ]
no subject
[He crosses his arms and flicks his tail.]
no subject
Do not underestimate me, strange devil, for thou has no reckoning of the power which I possess! Even if I do not finish it all, tis my right to waste the rest as I see fit!
[ She chomps in and tears off a piece of flesh emphatically
to establish dominance. ]no subject
Finders keepers can get first dibs, sure, but I'm not about to let you waste the freshest meat on this cage of a ship.
no subject
Blademaster? I've heard of no such devil!
[ She cocks her head, trying to get a read on the sincerity of the confidence and maybe a scent. ]
Thou more closely resembles what I'd expect of the Wine Devil. T'would be a lush that thinks they can tell the mighty Power what they'll 'let' me do!
no subject
[He does indeed smell demonic...mixed with a damp and almost sweet scent, like the air during a lightning storm. Ozone, if she knows the source of that smell.]
Former emperor of the Thunder Hell. The 'mighty' just give me something to sharpen my sword on.
no subject
If thou does indeed possess the mastery of blades, does thou know of the art of 'sashimi'?
no subject
[He glances at the shark, and a set of knives in the shape of wings manifests behind him. He grabs a long, thin knife with a very sharp looking blade.]
Sure, I know my way around a fillet knife.
no subject
Come, then, Alastor! Butcher this beast and we shall feast!
no subject
[And so he goes to work! Having a long standing preference for properly prepared meat, he does a pretty good job of deboning and slicing the shark.]
no subject
Once there's enough carved up, she can't help but swoop in to get a piece. HOMF! ]
I thought myself perhaps alone among mortals. Has thou seen more Devils here?
no subject
[He holds off on eating until he's done working, but then grabs a slice to chew on. Mmm, bloody meat.]
I can't be completely sure without my magical senses, but I think we are the only devils on board.
no subject
Why does thou think that is? Are we to be as wolves among these sheep for the entertainment of our captor? Or are we to be hunted by those that revile our kind?
no subject
[He sits on the floor, legs crossed, to eat.]
A couple 'monsters' that are used to killing...but we've also had our powers messed with. It's an even playing field, perfect for devil hunters to make a move.
no subject
Does thou know of any devil hunters amongst our numbers? Mortals now jumped up with abilities beyond their usual ken be one matter, but devil hunters?
no subject
no subject
[ Beat. Does he think there's a kinship between them as devils? Hm. ]
What is thine opinion on cats?
no subject
[The question surprises him a bit, and he hums as he chews.]
Cats? Cute, I guess...they make good familiars. And I can't say I don't empathize with them. People keep comparing me.
[...Possibly in part because the way his tail twitches and flicks is much like a restless cat.]
no subject
[ Not.
She... could see that. Not only because his tail is twitching, but because he seems to be happily eating the sashimi. ]
Would thou eat a cat? Not because thou must, but simply because thou could.
no subject
[Or pettiness, as is the case with devils who gorge themselves on humans just because 'the weak deserve to be devoured'.]
