Week 2
[
and it's clear that Zero
is a big dickzzzzzsht
A week has passed. However, there is no denying anymore that the power Zero possesses is very real. One person is already dead because of this, regardless of what, exactly, the Gimme's role in it was.
There is also no denying that the ship is somehow powered by blood, if not made of blood entirely. Why? How? And what do the clues uncovered in the previous week have to do with it?
The watches, meanwhile have not changed in any way. Everyone is still in their color groups. The doors to the next floor are still locked as well. Perhaps those are also murder dependent. Which is...also not good. But at least there's food and laundry down here, so...maybe it'll get boring eventually, but for now, infinite confinement on the bottom decks of the ship may not be so bad. right?
...Right?
There are currently 18 strangers on this ship.]

There didn't seem to be any consequences to not murdering someone, aside from not receiving those paltry gifts, so I would think either those things are very important to someone--he did say people have killed for less, which is correct--or he's betting on some sort of self-defense or accident to occur.
Though I hesitate to call it into question because if anyone were to break the rules, I imagine it would be him, but one would expect the master of this place would not be able to interfere in the actual murder. Whether that is actually the case is another matter, but that would be the assumption.

I believe that Zero is physically absent from this building. However, I would not put it past Zero to interfere in some other way. These televisions that appear, he does not force it to be a public meeting we all see at once. I believe he may attempt to engineer the accident in a way that still meets the criteria for his interest in watching this game play out.
[Interesting talk to have.]

I suppose under that scenario--as mentioned, something important being in said theme park--the initial ridiculousness of the request becomes less so, especially considering the information he has access to. [he does pause at the mention of a modified memory, though, frowning]
...I wasn't aware of memory modification.

...the only thing I cannot recall is how I got here.

[Thinking emoji though.]
... But there is one more possibility. That you forgot the entirety of a long span of time.

...in other words, there's the possibility that I have forgotten an entire future and my memory stops at what is actually point in my past.

It's small comfort that such a period is short enough to not have physically aged.
