Week 2
[
and it's clear that Zero
is a big dickzzzzzsht
A week has passed. However, there is no denying anymore that the power Zero possesses is very real. One person is already dead because of this, regardless of what, exactly, the Gimme's role in it was.
There is also no denying that the ship is somehow powered by blood, if not made of blood entirely. Why? How? And what do the clues uncovered in the previous week have to do with it?
The watches, meanwhile have not changed in any way. Everyone is still in their color groups. The doors to the next floor are still locked as well. Perhaps those are also murder dependent. Which is...also not good. But at least there's food and laundry down here, so...maybe it'll get boring eventually, but for now, infinite confinement on the bottom decks of the ship may not be so bad. right?
...Right?
There are currently 18 strangers on this ship.]

Hold on. ]
...Hm. The boy did say something about wishing to go to space... it's a little bit of a guess but from what little i've seen of him and his personality...
[ Roland sighed. ]
Goodness... i'll feel ridiculous if this is wrong, but perhaps it's that young man Kaito?

[He's been lingering outside the kitchen, not saying a word. Finally, he walks in.]
....
Find somethin' out, huh?

[ He straightens up and then laughs. Honestly it'd been just a guess so he didn't know if he'd be right or not with that one. ]
Indeed I did. It's quite unfortunate that something of that nature happened to you, Kaito. [ A soft sigh. ] I can understand why you kept that a secret.

[He sighs.]
Not that everyone here can't be my friends, neither, but it felt more personal when they were all in the exact same shoes as me.
It sucks, either way. I didn't make it out of the last one. Not many people did. There were...probably... [Shuichi, Himiko, Tsumugi, and Kiibo...] ...four people left.

[ His expression definitely dims a little when Kaito names off the small number of people, along with the reiteration of not having been able to make it out of that game. ]
That's such a small number. I can only assume there were many more of you at the start, so to lose so many? I can't imagine how that must feel for you.

...
[He sighs.]
It feels a while ago, now. But yeah. Doesn't give me much hope for our numbers here, either. We're around that amount...
[Even if the motive right now is something that Monokuma would probably consider the most worthless idea imaginable.]

Let's try to get as many of us out of this despicable game, then. I can't say how well we will do but we won't know until we try!
[ Roland understands human nature surprisingly well but he wants to be optimistic here. It was about putting his best foot forwards and at least making a solid effort. ]
