WEEK 2

[It's been one week on the Gigantic
and it's clear that Zero
is a big dickzzzzzsht



A week has passed. However, there is no denying anymore that the power Zero possesses is very real. One person is already dead because of this, regardless of what, exactly, the Gimme's role in it was.

There is also no denying that the ship is somehow powered by blood, if not made of blood entirely. Why? How? And what do the clues uncovered in the previous week have to do with it?

The watches, meanwhile have not changed in any way. Everyone is still in their color groups. The doors to the next floor are still locked as well. Perhaps those are also murder dependent. Which is...also not good. But at least there's food and laundry down here, so...maybe it'll get boring eventually, but for now, infinite confinement on the bottom decks of the ship may not be so bad. right?

[ Ah. So he HAD heard things correctly with that doll, but given none of the other ones sounded like his own? It tied in a lot with things, though it was a little harder to pinpoint the when with those missing memory gaps of his. ]

Hm. I suppose I have to say that I have, but it was NOT a human child.

[ A darkness fell within his expression, though he still met Zack's gaze straight on. There was no need to lie about this, nor give the impression he was doing so. ]

I had only done so in order to save a human from being killed, as vampires can be truly cruel and incredibly vicious irregardless of their age.

[It still feels wrong? But. Zack is willing to at least listen. He looks down at his pancakes, then back up at Roland, his eyes, his expression searching.]

Yes. The vampire child was going to kill an innocent person and I had to act quickly to save them, as any hesitation would have resulted in a much different outcome.

[ A soft sigh and his brows knit into a small frown. ]

I assure you I do not take any enjoyment in what I had to do, but it is what my job requires of me.
